True, but I think they have been mostly more doors correct? Most of the push backs I thought were on 2 doors.

Is anyone who had a ‘23 HE on order with @Granger Ford that was cancelled and reordered as a ‘24 been scheduled?
@Zach@Granger Are any of the ‘24 reorders being scheduled? Is there an allocation issue with Granger for 2024 orders? Really getting frustrated watching 2dr HE’s get scheduled while my order is ignored.

I was surprised those parts came in so fast. It only took a week for fender parts. They said their Ford guy would double check the part numbers they ordered. They also compared it to the smashed fender to make sure it was the correct square one. Neither the fenders nor Heritage grill were back ordered. The only real reason it took a month was because the side mirror cap was back ordered and had to wait for their vendor to put on the heritage stripe.

Pretty sure I read about that a couple years ago but in this case I believe they painted it along with hood and bumper trim. At least, that's what their estimate said they were doing.

Yes, two door HEs were scheduled later this year starting in February, but last year delays affected both 2 door and 4 door HEs which is clearly not the case now.
I hope and expect that two doors MY 24 HE orders scheduled in February will be built in a timely manner. We will see….

I guess I never did hear what the root cause of the delays were. Like you say, hopefully there are no delays.

It actually came a month ago, but I had plumbing disaster on Christmas that affected my finances. Corwin Ford in Springfield, Mo was very understanding and held it for me all this time. Someone else had ordered a Cactus Gray Heritage and then abandoned it, so it sat on the pad for a few weeks unsold while customers were offering $10-15k over sticker for the one I'd ordered that was sitting by the wall next to the service department.
they better be! i'm scheduled for the week of the 12th. if this thing has one more hiccup they will be dead to me. probably the 5th time i've said that

Just brought the Bronco back home. Shop was across the street from a famous BBQ place, so we got ourselves some lunch too. I can’t tell any difference in paint between factory door and new fender and hood. Feels good to be driving it again!

Here's a pic. I like it but I'm undecided what I'm going to do. My wife really wants the winch up front for easy access vs hiding it underneath. I did end up buying another cheap ebay modular when it went on sale that is much better quality than the first. There was a lot of discussion with body shop on what they'd be willing to do, so I was planning for multiple options. So, I've got three bumpers to choose from! I'm going to drive around with it for a couple weeks and maybe test fit some lights and see what I feel.
