Bronco build week 1/1/2024

tracker shows mine is "in production" since 1/4. Just got off the chat with Ford and same old story.."currently being built in one of our factories". no emails from Ford either.

seeing others having their tracker pages move to "Built" is good, means it isn't broken. I asked Ford chat if there was a holdup due to some part being unavailable, they did not have a way of knowing. My arrival window at the dealer has not changed from feb 1-10 so guess I just wait.

Anyone know the best way to get a railcar number to track shipment? I got it last time I ordered from Ford chat but now for thin Bronco I’m getting an answer that that is not information they have.

Is there a better contact than ford chat?

Chat update today. Web tracker isn’t updating. 1/5 blend date. Said non-SAS BL Lux dual top is built and estimated delivery dates 2/3-2/11 to East Tx. Dealer said same last week so they definitely have better or same info as chat reps.

The tracker says built as of 10 Jan and I received a built email the other day.

My blend date was January 2. Truck has been sitting in production since that date. Tear tag has populated as well as over 1000 modules. Pulled the window sticker today and noticed that it’s different from when it was first available in mid December. . It went from “9–normal” to “4-rebill”

anyone have an idea what is that about. its The special order box at the bottom also had some changes... vin number price and other items appear to be the same.

anyone have any ideas what the difference is between normal and rebill ?

Dreamer - I live in Vermont so probably our Broncos will be on the same Train. This is what my window sticker now shows:

It just means the vehicle was re-invoiced by the factory and therefore a replacement window sticker was created.

Happens for a variety of reasons, often for inaccuracies on the window sticker or a price update, but sometimes the reason isn't obvious.

Comparing the two stickers side-by-side, the only differences were the items noted. Price options, etc. all remain the same. Vehicle has been stuck in production since a blend date of January 2. Was trying to figure out why the vehicle is stuck in that status. When others have been released with later Build dates. A little frustrating as I’m looking forward to getting the truck.

Could be a variety of reasons:

• Missing component so it is currently sitting in a waiting lot
• QA issue so it got pulled aside
• You ordered a component on your Bronco that doesn’t get installed by the main assembly line, so it is waiting in another line for accessory installation.

(Probably some other reasons that just isn’t coming to mind at the moment.)

In the past with customer-ordered vehicles it was almost always the last bullet point. If you ordered an option like paint protection film, or a spray-in bedliner, or a roof rack, or bash plates your vehicle would be sent to the mod line to install those accessories. (Admittedly I’m not sure which options are installed by the mod line for the Bronco, but I am fairly confident the roof rack is one of them.)

Unfortunately over the past 2-3 years it has almost always been due to the first bullet point. So it’s probably sitting there waiting for a component.

I was pretty sure that’s what’s holding mine up. Everglades so the roof rack, bash plates and winch are probably installed after main line assembly. Estimated delivery from Ford is 01/23 - 01/29

My blend date was 1/4 and have a tear tag, so guessing my full skid plates is the delay...

1/5 Blend, 1/8 Tear Tag....got my "built" update on the tracker on the 10th, then got the "built" email yesterday, then got both the "shipped" update in the tracker and email from Ford overnight.

Just got the email from Ford saying my Bronco is on the way, should have it by the end of the month.
