Okay... just more info for whomever is interested.

I finally took the time to use the Ford ProCal today... got the tire revs per mile and gearing adjusted to the max parameters allowed... also got the Ford Performance Tune for the 2.7L flashed...

It is a different beast.

Reminder - I have 4.46 gears and the 1.22 portal hub factor for an effective 5.4412. My tires are 523 revs per mile (Nitto Trail Grappler MT's "40"" 39.76)... so I set the procal to 5.38 gears and 579 revs per mile (for the 37" BFG KO2 size; minimum setting). My cruise at 65 is 70mph GPS. My cruise at 69 is 75 GPS. That is not terrible (before it was like 63 is 75). RPM at 75 GPS was 2.2k steady, slight uphill still 2.2, slight downhill 2.1. About the same as before.

0-90mph GPS is smooth as butter and surprisingly tame and controlled and quiet. It doesn't feel like 40's or 90mph.

I'm very happy. Excited to get my downpipes, exhaust, CAI, etc. in over the next couple weeks.
Thank you! this is great news. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Just talked to Quinn, I guess mine ship Friday. And new news... Price of 74 Weld Steering rack just DROPPED $400... because as of the first of the year Ford decreased the price of the HOSS 3 internals... Full price drop is being passed on to consumer.

Edit... it did not drop TO $400......It is still over $5000.... or $6000 with options including the double shear heim with tie rods included.

Thanks for the update, this is great to hear.
Curious how the 4.70 gears will be especially with the Ford Pro Cal.

By my calculations.... With 40s, the truck should respond as if there were 33s on it being turned by those 4.7 gears.... So... as if it was geared just slightly lower than stock. Not sure how changing the gear specs and tire specs in the procal are going to effect it though.

That is very cool! My hope is that with all the additional stuff and the gear reduction of the portals would basically balance out.
In regards to the Pro Cal I was refering to the power change. I am plaining on waiting until I have done all the upgrades ie: portals, suspecsion, belly skids etc which will add weight, to see how it performs and then put on the ProCal to see the difference. Although I still need to find a dealer that will install it!!! I have no problem doing it myself but I really want the warranty on it.

you don't need a dealer to maintain warranty, just an ASE tech

True... but if you have a good dealer and can get it at a similar price?.... Hell I would do it myself if I could keep the drivetrain warranty.... Obviously my suspension will be on me.... But engine, Trans, tranfercase .... I want to keep that on Ford. ASE or Dealer... I have several of either to choose from when the time comes.

I think the key is more about WAITING until the mods are complete (to a point) and then contrasting the difference.

Thank you, i was aware, but in my area, finding one that is willing to do it is the problem!!
Already talked to a couple of local shops and no one was interested. Now, i haven't gone crazy looking, yet, because its kind of on the back burner.

I talked to over a dozen ford dealerships in my area and areas I traveled through and none wanted to do it unless I bought the ProCal from them...

I had a friend who is an ASE mechanic for a chevy dealership do it... how exactly do I need to evidence this? A note that I leave in my glove box?

That is what I always wondered. What proof is needed. I have read the manual and any material I could find and it doesn't say.
Not the end of the world but would rather have the warranty than not, you know, because i am not plaining any major upgrades or anything...🤣🤣🤣

i would assume that when installing the installer has to enter some type of Identification.... The tune itself is registered to your VIN... I would assume all of that information is kept in the great Database in the cloud....

Sasquatch wheels are +35 offset and Ford Performance offers some Method Beadgrips in stock dimensions that I believe are not available through Method.
https://accessories.ford.com/bronco-2021-method-17x8-5-matte-black-wheel-kit-1
factory squatch wheels are 30mm. 17x8.5 +35 is an off the shelf method size.

https://www.methodracewheels.com/products/703-matte-black?variant=39290134495293

only reason to buy them from Ford would be if you’re determined to spend an extra $300
