Heard back from shop. Good news is that the part with the longest delay is the AC Refrigerant sticker on the core support, which is about two months out (They'll mail it to me). Everything else should hopefully be in within two weeks. $10,800 in damages! PSA- Use your e-brake always!
Yikes. It’s crazy what things are costing these days. Happy to hear you'll be getting it back soon. Makes sense when you see they are now shipping much faster now excluding of course @Calypso !

Looks like a lot of that is buying a bunch of heritage and Heritage Limiteds and mixing and matching parts.... Some aftermarket. seems to like general grabbers.

Mostly hideous. Looks like a kid who painted his Hot Wheels. Hard pass…

I assured them that I was competent enough to put a sticker on, so we’re good there.
Hey, are they getting you a real MOD bumper for that? Just thought of that maybe that’s the silver lining here for you.

I dig the addition height with the Heritage fender, Will yours end up similar?

That has a lift in it.

Mine will definatly have a lot more than that.... Looks like maybe a 3"? I will have about 6.5.

almost 4 inch from the portals and about 2.5 from the coil overs.

Take a look at @Bored 's bronco over on the 74weld thread (pics on page 30) .... He has the portals and 2.5 coil overs installed and running 40s.... He is a little wide since his chosen wheel (really nice wheels) have the bead lock front and rear and the bolt heads were hitting the calipers so he had to push them outboard with wheel spacers...

I should have the same height just with square fenders.... ;)

edit: here you go....

It’s been a discussion. The first shop I had was down for going that route. Unfortunately, after they had it for a few days, they decided it was a specialty vehicle and didn’t have the capacity for it. So, they shipped it to another shop (same company) that had capacity for a “specialty” vehicle. The new place has policy for original spec OEM only. I pleaded my case.

On the estimate paperwork today, they had all the part numbers for the modular bumper, so…we’ll see. I don’t have my hopes up but hopefully they do me a solid so I don’t have to store two capable bumpers in my garage. If I don’t get it, I’ll probably go eBay route again to my displeasure.

I just spoke with my dealer, their Ford rep, and the customer service center. Despite ordering my 4-door HE in March 2023, despite it not being built as a 2023, and instead being built as a 2024 in Jan, they are offering zero price protection or model year transition assistance. Very poor way of doing business. I realize this isn't "new" news for many of you... but just wanted to share my experience. As a consultant by profession, this is uber frustrating because these types of circumstances are so very easily fixed. There's no reason for Ford to yank everyone's crank for months on end, sacrifice Ford's reputation, and erode their brand loyality. It's almost like they went out of their way to screw everyone and themselves over. It's truly baffling, Ford. Do better.
You dealer should have informed you better. MY24 was the "great Bronco order reset" where price protection disappeared for all orders. Ford incentivized folks to remove constraints in their 23 orders so they could be scheduled and built.

The only except was the HE 2-door "all orders cancelled" fiasco.

So I got the two Rockworkx thumbscrew bolts to use on the rear windows because on the 2DR, the bolts are kinda annoying to get to since they are right behind the rollbar. The thumbscrews are just a little too big to fit into the "dimple" on the window, so I 3D printed new "washers" that mimic the original bolt's profile.
Works perfect and now it will be a 2 min job to remove the windows.

The shadow makes it look like the thumbscrew sticks out further that it really does. It is just about flush with the window.
