Interestingly it appears to be a MIC top with the SMC overlay on the outside? = Mod Top?

Other than the removable back side windows and maybe portal top opening, is the "advanced/mod" top same design as the regular top? Meaning same thinnish veneer plastic-like outer sheeting fused to honeycomb paper core etc?

I've only had mine a couple weeks, but I love it so far and I'm glad I waited for the MOD top.

Deliveries of the HEs started around page 275 or so, we're a chatty bunch over there...

I’ve thought that this was one of their promises made that they have no intention of honoring.

Agree! But being honest & transparent to your customers is paramount! From what I’ve witnessed, this isn’t happening.

Since you are used to the wait, there's a Mod top that guys have pre-ordered for $6-7K, it's taking a few years for that ship from China to make its way over here, but it does come with a 6 month warranty.
