Using ageism guessing - Zach is Tim's son. Tim owns the place but Zach is the "Cheese in Learning". Probably only sleeps in on the odd numbered days. ;)
They better get their sleep now before the Broncos start showing up.
Granger Ford is going to make the 2021-2022 Iowa Visitor Destination webpage.
AND they deserve to!

@Granger Ford im in Atlanta and to be honest the 15 hour drive isn’t my problem. What to do with my trade is. Georgia has a 7% tax, but you get a credit for trade in so you only pay the tax on the difference. Do you know if that only applies to in state dealers?
GA sales tax is 6.6%. You will only pay the difference no matter where you purchase. Most dealerships I know will handle your out of state tax at the dealership, collect the correct amount, and forward it back to your local DMV. Ford requires all dealers to perfect liens in the US to prohibit exporting vehicles out of the country and collecting tax and doing your title work insures this. If the dealer doesn't collect it, then you will have to handle it when you return to GA. Hope this helps.

If you have not followed the forum news since Friday, it is FORD CORPORATION who changed the rules midway through the process, not Granger.

Granger Ford found a way to deal with the the Ford Corporate change that benefited ALL of their customers.

Early adopters, you will now get your Bronco earlier!

Willing to wait, helping Early adopters get their Bronco sooner, you get rewarded with extra savings by taking a later delivery.

The choice is yours to make, not to complain about.
Actually I have every right to make comments on this form as you do. And you know we all have about 31 days to decide. I do not see the new program benefiting early adopters and based on Ford’s changes it looks like many people will be watching others buying Broncos off the dealer’s lot before theirs ever arrives, later orders will probably be waiting for a year or more. That will be a long time to wait as many people will cancel their orders to buy off lot or another vehicle. Not being negative just know human mature.

Very true, we are all upset with the changes Ford Corporate made after telling us the reservations were first come, first served.

Hmm... had to check how far from Granger.

Found out that I could drive my Badlands back home through both Badlands... ;)

That is awesome. It will be a fun ride for sure!

This is the exact type of information that we are looking to share on the new Granger Fan Club- Broncotown, USA page. If you would like to share it there and any other thoughts on the trip you can find us here: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/groups/granger-fan-club-broncotown-usa.76/

Thanks and happy wheeling!

Kris, thanks this was a helpful response. I reached out to my current local dealer to ask some questions about how the purchase will go. Assuming they aren't going to try anything shady, like forcing me to buy undercoating and tire nitrogen for $1000, I will just stay local. I'd rather purchase it where I service it and where I intend to purchase my wife's Navigator as well(she is due for a new car in 2021 as well), but only if they plan on dealing with me above board.

Anyhow, I see you in are in Georgia, and I presume one of the dealers local to me.

Yes but changing the rules and prices midway through the process makes a confusing ordering process even more confusing. So we all have about 31 days to decide what we want to do.
Not sure what's confusing, this new deal is for new subscribers only with delivery expected for 2022. If you're unhappy with your old deal you can drop your current reservation and go to the back of the line with 2 grand in your pocket. Seems simple enough to me but what do I know.

I have a FE Sport on order for my wife at a local dealer. @Granger Ford are y'all doing anything new on the Sports, did the allocation rules change? If so I might cancel my FE Sport since it's too late to move and place a new Sport (not FE) order with you. I'm also thinking about the full size 4 door for when I retire, your October deal may push me over the edge!
Nothing has changed with the Sport. Obviously we would welcome the opportunity to earn your business, but I would anticipate your FE Sport coming as quickly as possible regardless of dealer choice.

so Tim makes Zach get up while he sleeps in. Does Tim know that Zach is not up and tending to bronco6g?

I have a 2 1/2 week old baby. I get sleep whenever I can.

For reference everyone:

A black diamond with Sasquatch and no money down is $742.44 a month @5% for 72 months and costs you $53,455.45

A black diamond with Sasquatch with no money down is $726 a month @5% interest for a cost of $52,305.45

So you’ll save $1000+ $150 in interest.
Why is interest so high???

I bought my GTI in late 2016 and landed a 3% for 60 months and it wasn't even the best rate.

As I understand it rates have gone DOWN not up since then, so why would people be looking @ 5% other than worse credit?

If I get anywhere near these terms I may just not even buy at all.

I certainly understand the concern. Throughout any of my conversations with Ford employees, they have reiterated that they intend to build all reservations before stock orders and that has not changed.

Every dealership has a unique reservation link where you can place your order without having to select it through Ford's GEO process.

Here's the link to my dealership >> https://www.vanbortelford.net/2021-Ford-Bronco.html

Don't you guys have one? If yes, you should post in the 1st post to help guys who have not created a reservation to chose Granger directly.

Directly from the Owner you all....

Fair enough, you have shared your opinion on the program which as you state is your right to do so.

Understand that nearly every other poster in this thread believes what Granger is doing is amazing and principled.

Reasonable people can see things different. You have chosen to do that. Now make a decision.

I wish deciding when, where, what dealer to buy from was one of my tougher decisions that I needed to make in a day.

It reminds me of the movie the untouchables with Kevin Costner. His character was fighting Al Capone in the movie and yet his wife still cared about what color to paint the kitchen. It is all about perspective.

Jesus Christ what is it with some of you? It’s just a generic number in a generic example. Nobody cares about what you would pay for interest, it’s a made up scenario. Again; It’s made up, fake, an example, not real. I can’t believe multiple have actually attempted to pick apart something made up as a reference. I always calculate all my interest at 5% or more so when it’s less I can be happy and not pissed because I expected 1-3% and can’t have it.

I agree with you, and when the prices and the rules change either coming from Granger or Ford it makes me uneasy. None of us know really when we’re going to get our vehicle or what’s gonna happen until after it happens, at this point it’s all speculation. Im in a private chat with Zach and you are right Granger is open and forthcoming and offer great prices. Best I can see this preorder process is uncharted waters. And I have been through all this before as early adopter for the Toyota FJ cruiser in 2006. All the questions and speculation were the same on the FJ cruiser forums. The process to acquire a vehicle was different but all of the same issues and speculation, wondering about options, waiting, chasing deals was the same.
