Also Canceled, looked up our order and it now shows CNX. We started with a
7/13/2020 order for a 2 DR outerbanks, kept getting delayed, moved to the next year and then we switched to Heritage, our mistake, I guess. We owned early 70s Bronco (wanted that look). Was hoping to get back into the club but now we do not feel the love from FORD. Will see what if any options are available, if not price protected and looking at close to a $10K increase, maybe not.

7/13/2020 order for a 2 DR outerbanks, kept getting delayed, moved to the next year and then we switched to Heritage, our mistake, I guess. We owned early 70s Bronco (wanted that look). Was hoping to get back into the club but now we do not feel the love from FORD. Will see what if any options are available, if not price protected and looking at close to a $10K increase, maybe not.

I would venture to say most people ordering a 2 door Heritage are the ones that wanted Ford to bring back the Bronco... the ones that were excited about its resurgence --- but now we are the ones left out in the cold. They don't even bother sending little cutesy gifts anymore (not that it would help).

Love how Ford drops a bomb on Fridays and weekends with no warning or communication. I'm sorry for all that are getting side swiped by this, could have easily been any of us that were already delivered proving once again there's been no rhyme or reason with the HE rollout.

All I can add is see what next week brings, at the moment you can't reorder a 2 door if you wanted to so if the common denominator is that then they should make an announcement soon for MY 24 and a way forward, let's hope it's a good one.

I truly hope Ford does right by all these folks impacted by the cancelations. I just don’t understand how they don’t get the plan in front of folks BEFORE everyone finds out on the tracker or from the dealer. Just client services 101 and they keep screwing that up over and over again.

From my dealer when I asked about what’s going on:

“Ford sent out a lot of info about this several months ago. Based on commodity constraints/parts availability, they advised if the vehicle wasn’t scheduled by a certain date, the orders would be cancelled. This is out of our hands. Ford also ended the reservation program. There will not be roll overs to 2024.”

Real encouraging. It will truly be appalling if Ford doesn’t make any amends.

This is true but this is a different animal with actual build dates and VINs issued for some of these folks. They absolutely HAVE to do something for them and I expect they will.

Good point. My guess is that is why the regular Heritage models are getting canceled to make sure they build the 1966 limiteds.

Since I picked up my HE, I have a second reservation that I'm not going to use.
2 door Race Red manual with aux switches.
If one of you guys that got cancelled are interested... and the dealer will work with you, I can give the build and dealer info.
It is listed as built but hasn't shipped yet.

I have a 2 door HEL reserved from a dealer. My last build week date was 12/11. I just checked the tracker this morning and it’s now 12/18.
If the VIN # is assigned by the MY, how is Ford going to build a Bronco the week of 12/18 and have it to the dealer prior to Jan. 1st, ‘24?
