105 dollars... don't spend 550, absurd.

It’s funny, I called them this morning based on the recommendation of Seth at Colorado Bronco Upfitters. Called service asked for Kevin and the person answering the phone didn’t know anyone by that name. Finally talked to a service advisor and he said the guy who knew about that called out today and wouldn’t be back until Monday.

That's bizarre. It's not like Kevin decided to charge a few of us 105, it's something that is approved by the department.

Let me know what happens, I'm happy to dig into my emails, etc to find the receipt so you can show them it if they push back.

This was AutoNation Ford in Littleton right? The one on Broadway? Yeah, the service advisor was acting like I was speaking Latin. Called a few places around here in Castle Rock and they said while they had never done one of them, they couldn’t see why it would be difficult. Shop rate was $160 but they couldn’t get me in for a few weeks. I’m impatient and knew the process, so rolled the dice and did it myself for $free.99

Fingers crossed, but so far so good. Loving the midrange bump and recalibrates shift points.

Ford is garbage unfortunately... I've only owned SK/Japanese brands and never had to speak with a rep because I never had to do anything to the cars. Dealing with these dealerships is pathetic.

Same…my wife drove 4Runners from ‘07-‘19 and the only they we encountered besides oil changes, batteries and tires was a dry-rotted CV boot on our 4thGen T4R. Otherwise they were bulletproof…boring but bulletproof.
