Does anyone know whether Webasto and other HE constrained parts suppliers such as the white wheels (which I presume are not UAW organized) could be still supplying parts during the UAW strike for Ford to stockpile and then ramp up HE production once the strike ends.

Not with JIT. I would assume like others they would ramp down maybe have layoffs depends on how many baskets their eggs are in.

I'm not sure how the Webasto plant is working but the wheels are from China aren't they? I would think that they could stockpile items like that if they could find the space to put it but ultimately any delays on the line like this strike inchworm their way down to the suppliers to halt production as well.

Sadly I doubt Ford is any more concerned about the Heritage than any other model. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see them stockpiling a bunch of parts while they're losing money during this strike. @Lowcountry Bronco is right I believe, the longer the strike lasts these suppliers will have to stop production as well.

So I am really digging the limited heritage‘s in this blue. Went searching online for one and saw most dealers in the US that I could find were asking from $5k all the way to $30k over sticker for the limited‘s. Stumbled on a small town dealer which was offering $1,500 UNDER sticker for one, brand new, no strings attached. Called them up, they sent me a purchase order, no BS and no extra add on’s. I am about to pull the trigger unless you guys think this is not a good deal and should be discounted more? I have X plan as well, will Ford allow it on a “limited” production vehicle?

If you're sure the dealer is on the up and up I think I'd be happy with that deal before they come to their senses!!! As for X plan, Bronco isn't eligible per Ford but a select few dealers were giving the discount.

Pul the trigger! You won’t find another deal anywhere close to that IMHO. They don’t have to accept the X plan but they might. I’d say if you like it, go for it!

@mjcutri Is that the first tracker 'update' calendar date change you've received? My tracker still lists the blend dste as the last update.

By looking at the pic I know where that is. I bought my Badlands from those guys. They were great to deal with, talk to Chris. Good luck on securing it.

It went back to "Order Confirmed" on 9/27 and then back to "In Production" on 9/28. That was the first time it had updated since 7/12.
I thought it was a good sign at the time because a bunch of other Broncos have shipped when that happened with the tracker, but I guess mine is just getting moved around the yard or something.

I don't know what's happened since the strike, but when mine went back to order confirmed the next update I got was final preparation about 2 weeks later.
