Just got back from a 9 day round trip camping in the BLM land around Cap Reef and Boulder Mt. Utah.

This pony is a dusty girl after this trip.... but she handled everything I threw at her with no trouble all week. Galloping highway miles in high heat followed by sure footed sand running and rock crawling daily. She bucks, and i love running this rig to the places and memories it has taken my family.

I just hope she comes home safe and runs better without the cold start knock when i get it back. Ford dealer finally is doing the waranty work after many many months wait. They will be pulling the engine to fix my failed cam phaser that occured @ <6,000k miles on my early reservation '22 2.7 badsas...

Enjoy the ride. I know I have. I hope Ford makes this right so I can keep these epic photos and memories coming. Enjoy!

Nice

How did the Defender do. Any difficult trails with rubbing underneath?

Thanks
The raptor drove through everything.

The Defender did the same paths or did paths through the trees to avoid big obstacles. It absolutely hung up in a few places but he has the oem front winch and we just winched off the raptor or trees.

We were on some really silly stuff.... I didn't think the raptor would do it and the Defender dang near did it all just the same.

Got STOP & GO working. followed the lead of a few other masterminds over on the forscan thread....only a couple changes and WHIZ-BANG, it works folks!!!
Went for a drive in stop and go traffic and it seems to work flawlessly. For those who don't know this feature can be added via for scan and it allows your Adaptive cruise control to bring the vehicle to a complete stop and then automatically accelerate it behind the vehicle ahead of you, all the while keeping it safe distance away. This feature is very handy in stop and go traffic and even at stop lights. Obviously I still have my foot near the brake and keep my eyes on the road just in case the system happens to have a flaw or see a flash of bright light or a reflection and fail.

Highly suggest this mod for attentive drivers with no forscan fear.

Do you have a write up on how to do it?

Was thinking the Defender would not be able to follow your Raptor.

Looks great! Did you do any lift or suspension mods?

If no suspension mods does it rub?
Thanks. Eibach coilovers and 3/4" wheel spacers. Barely rubs on the front crash bar mount at full stuff and wheel turned all the way, but no where near enough to want to do anything about it. Just a bit of paint rubbed off at the outboard edge.
