Hi all, I've ordered an MY2024 Bronco Wildtrak. Ford's email to me said I'd get further information "within 45 days" and obviously it hasn't been that long, but I'm curious if any MY24 orders have gotten their VINs yet?

You won't get your VIN until they start the production of your car.. So it goes like this:

-You place your order with your dealer and get the confirmation email (hopefully you already got it)

-You'll get an email once they schedule your car for production. The email should tell you which week your car is scheduled for and include the VIN.

-Once they start the production, you will get an email and should be able to view the sticker within the week they start the production process.

-Production is done and your car gets shipped to the dealer (takes anywhere between 2 weeks to 3 months for car to get to your dealer)

As of now, they're still scheduling 2023's and to my understanding, they're expected to start working on the 2024's sometime between mid November to Late December so you likely won't see your car until H1 of 2024

Thanks!

I'll assume then that the 45 day quote that Ford.com gave me will be missed.

My dealer said I should expect my Bronco in "3 to 4 months" so I guess that could be legit...

The 45 day email should provide you with an update. Either "we're still working on it" type of generic language or possibly a scheduling email. And 3-4 months is a little optimistic given they'll be working on 2023 orders until about the end of year but I mean who knows, I really do hope you get it this soon! Also, the wait time depends on the options constraints so for example any orders that contain hard top, sasquatch, and/or high/lux package typically take longer than orders without these options.

Wildtrak, with Lux, Sasquatch (albeit included in the model itself), and a hard top... I think I chose the most likely model to be delayed :p

Thanks a lot for your help, I appreciate it.

LOL yeah those are the big 3 constraints items. If I were to guess, you'll likely have it within 6-8 months... And you're welcome, keep us posted! and feel free ask away. This forum is full of knowledgable ppl

And to clarify: You get the VIN when it's first scheduled for production. So depending on how many times it's bumped you could get your VIN several months before it's actually built. I got my VIN in June, and it was built in late August.

Put my order in as soon as the 24 order banks opened and my dealership told me to expect 6 months minimum, they said a February/March delivery would be a best case scenario but I also ordered a Wildtrak with hard top, tow, and lux package so I know I'm in the most likely to be delayed group.

I don't have any Ford insider connections but I'm hoping with their transition to standard 12" screens on all models and how fast the 2024 mustang is already hitting dealer lots (I know, different plants) that it's a good indication supply constraints are getting better. But then there's the UAW strike... lol

I have been hearing from my dealer for MY2023, they got a delivery in about 3 months and another in 6 months which are probably the best timelines ever seen....

My heritage was ordered within the first hour order banks opened. Received confirmation from Ford in less than an hour. Dealer said March, I laughed and said I hoped by August.
