My lower back gets sore after a long day driving, but it's not unique to the Bronco. I'm a petite female, not sure if seat jackers would help or not but something I was interested in at one point, but honestly forgot about. Might be worth trying.

Is this a difference between trims or something? My headrest moves forward/backward.
I think adjustable headrests are only High or Lux package.
Leather = power seats (well, in the 4 door) and adjustable headrests. Cloth the head rests only go up and down. I've thought about getting a small pillow support for mine because I can't use it without actively leaning back. Not sure what the MGV functions are.

Is this serious or a joke? I’ve only had my Bronco for about 2 weeks now and find the headrest the worst part about the seat. Feel like it pushes my head forward and wished there was a way to adjust it back, but it only goes up or down. Hadn’t even thought about just pulling it out and reversing. Genius! Going to try that when I leave work.

Adjustable headrests are only in Broncos with leather. Everybody else gets their head shoved into the steering wheel for some reason. Almost every other Ford vehicle has adjustable headrests, and I know the ones in F-150’s at least are interchangeable with the Bronco, so I would look at the junkyards. You can buy them from Ford, but someone got some leather ones at the parts counter, and they said they were like $170 each, or something like that…😵💫

I don’t recommend flipping them around, because the whole idea of the headrest is to keep your neck from snapping backwards if you get rear ended. When you flip the headrest around, there’s way too much room for your head to snap back.

Maybe I'm the minority, mine are too far away.. but they do say seats are designed for the male body. I need more support between my head and the seat/head rest.

Wow, how tall are you? I’ve heard people say the headrests don’t bother them, but never that they didn’t go far enough forward… 😳

5'4" and pretty petite overall. I've thought about getting one of those dumb headrest pillows, lol. A little support behind my neck would be nice for longer trips.

The seats in my Base are more comfortable and firm. Can’t speak on the MGV, but fir some reason, I feel like they’d be softer. Must be memories of growing up on a lake with a boat.

I love my MGV seats - but, 100% suggest the seat jackers. Changed the whole game for me and my passenger. I am about to order a set for our new Ranger. It helps seat your butt firmly in the seat and supports the back of your legs. It seems expensive for what it is, but I have spent more money on dumber shit that hasn't brought me half as much return on investment. My wife would complain about not being able to get comfortable on long trips because there is zero lumbar support in the passenger seat. Hasn't made a peep since.

My GF and I find the base cloth seats great. When we're deciding which car to drive, she says "let's take the lay-z-boy", so I grab the Bronco's key.

You want to feel some uncomfortable seats? The Integra I traded in for the Bronco was garbage, and that was a "luxury" car. The 23 MDX loaner I had for a moment, hard and couldn't find a good spot. My Miata can be rough after a while, but that's to be expected.

All this talk about headrests, and I have no clue what the problem is. You're not supposed to rest your head on them. Do you think that adjustable headrests are going to be the fix for some kind of discomfort you're experiencing? I imagine that the fixed headrests most of us have will be the standard starting position for the adjustable headrest. Meaning, the adjustments will only go more forward, making it worse for those stating they have discomfort. Adjustable headrest certainly won't go backwards. But if you really want an adjustable headrest, remember, this is a Ford, you can probably snag some headrest from another model and slide them in.

I do know what some people are talking about regarding the lack of the front not tilting up. I do think the seats could be better if that was adjustable. Seat jackers, washers, chunk of metal with a hole drilled through it, seat covers with a rolled up towel under the front - all options that could help.

I can say there is a very fine threshold of comfort with the manual seats. The seat is comfortable once you find your exact position (you should be able to). As soon as someone moves the seat, good luck finding your spot again...

I have these risers and they are great! I spend lots of hours wheeling and these have had a noticeable difference on long trails.

I installed these when I did my safariland QLS holster mount. desertdoesit has phenomenal products that I can't recommend enough. Quality stuff.

Had my rig detailed earlier this summer. Driver seat was moved. Took me a week or better to find my sweet spot.
