The camera only comes with the ex high now high/lux package which isn't available on the standard. Now the Limited gets all the bells and whistles so you can move to that if you can find one.

You'll have to search if you can feed in an external aftermarket camera feed into the screen, I'm sure someone here's tried and succeeded or has a work around.

Ooof got shafted.

I have a 2023 on order. No build date, no info other than the auto response. I placed an order today for 2024. Would it have been possible to just switch my order to a 2024? Is it still possible? They asked if I was going to want the 2023 I said, no. Now I thinking I misspoke. I should’ve just modified that order. 🤔I was told when I originally placed my order in March if it didn’t get built in 2023 the order would be cancelled so I was going off of that

Did learn a couple of things. I wanted the tailgate and the reason it is standard in the Heritage is it does not have full skid plates. No big, can pick and choose what I want.

My dealer was clean, had nothing in the que and has his last 4 on the train currently in Iowa.

I was ordering a boat load of 550 cab and chassis from him in one of my past lives and he gave me a bit of an insight on what he has been told and what he thinks will happen. He has batted about 98% over the last 20 + years and talked me out of buying a Powerstroke when they were having issues so he has always been straight with me.

Oh, and no ADM!!! Unlike others around here.

Im scheduled for Oct 2nd and gonna try to get ahead of the game. How's the private offer and price protection going for everybody?
Had a very good update on the Private offer today. I took delivery on August 4, and despite all of my efforts ahead of time with calls to Ford Marketing, Bronco Specialists, Ford COVP HQ, and even an email to COVP HQ at the 11th hour, etc. the dealer was not able to apply the cert at time of purchase, they tried, they showed me the screenshot of the errors. I was resigned to never seeing that money.

On August 10 Ford COVP emailed out of the blue asking for my COVP Tracking number. That was something my dealer did give me when I was trying everything under the sun to make it work, so I replied with the number. The next day they replied "Confirming we may now claim 38644 for VIN 1FMEE4DP8PLAXXXXX for 3220.00". Really? Now?

Well, dealer tried again to claim and sent Ford COVP HQ screenshots of the resulting errors. Yesterday COVP HQ replied saying they were still working on it. Today, another email at 11:45 AM "Confirming you should now be able to claim 38644. Please let us know if you have any issues."

Dealer called me 5 minutes later and said he wanted to see if it would work with me on the phone, so he confirmed the address I would want the check sent to in the event this actually worked. A few seconds later all I heard was, "It worked".

There should now be a check somewhere in the queue with my name on it. Dealer confirmed it was setup to mail directly to my address.

Here is to hoping they finally fixed "The Glitch" and all HE owners get the money due to them.

Was at a local dealer at 3:30pm and put a deposit on a HE, but the Banks weren't open yet. Salesman said they might open at 5pm, but likely in the morning, they would reach out with the page I need to sign. Hop on here to see the banks opened at 5pm, and I heard nothing. Excellent....

You mean you don't want a 12" screen? The new Tundra has a 14" screen. Heck, the Tesla model Y has a 15.4" screen. I don't think all these Tesla crashes have anything to do with auto pilot. I think people are too distracted by these wide screen TVs in their Teslas. Maybe they could just make the entire windshield, one huge infotainment screen. God forbid one of these massive screens goes bad on you out of warranty. Your car will be totaled.
Go check out the 2025 Escalade IQ. It has a 55" screen - essentially the whole dash is screen.

Yea, sounds like you’re gonna miss out… 🤣 As there is no longer a model year order transition, you keep your current order in case it gets built plus re-order to get back in line… the days of keeping your place in line are gone. It’s up to dealer allocations and constraints.

I was hopeful Ford would do something to help the unscheduled MY23’s…no idea where that hope came from but it was there 🤣

I hope so, if your dealer says they have tried before and it didn't work; just insist they try again.
