Yesterday I noticed that my softtop is wearing in the same spot on both sides. It looks like a small cut but its is directly above 2 metal brackets below.

The Bronco is just over a year old and haven't had any other issues so far.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

Is there a Torx bolt underneath that’s causing that to happen? I will look when I get home but I don’t believe I have that going on

Is there a Torx bolt underneath that’s causing that to happen? I will look when I get home but I don’t believe I have that going on
It looks to be from the curved piece in this picture. Our climate is cooler than most so I would think it would be from heavy use like warmers areas.

I don’t have those spots on mine. I do live where it never gets cold though compared to other places. I can’t even feel the piece in the picture under the top. I have the JTop Bimini so I can see it from the inside either. Can it be moved by hand? I will have to take my top back to further investigate.

It don’t seem like the top can move enough to touch the metal below so i’ll need to open it up to see if it is touching when open
