Well, I finally did it. Pulled the trigger on a new leather steering wheel and shift boot from @RedlineGoods β€” Thanks again to Jack and the team at Redline for coming up with some creative solutions for me.

The color match is pretty dang close to my seats from Katzkin so it definitely pulls the interior together a bit more.

All that’s left is to find someone to wrap the dashboard and I’ll be done with the interior… for now…

CrawlTek front and rear bumpers installed yesterday. Also had rock lights installed in the mirror housing as approach lights. Will post some pics later.

Going in next week to have the up fitter switches installed. That was the only option on my Base model when I ordered it and they weren't added when it was built.

Changed the oil in my 2.7 at 4,200 miles (was at 60% life). Used 6 qts and while oil was dark it was not sludgy. Very little metal shavings in the oil filter fins that some have reported at less miles. Used a motor craft filter and next time will try a STP. Skid plate is a 15mm and the oil canister is a 27mm.

Installed Molle panels on the front doors and in the rear compartment this morning. The nets up front were already falling apart so I completely got rid of them. The rear panels will definitely help with preventing further scratches back there. Good place to attach stuff also.

Welp did a few things. I installed the MRT Hood struts that were on sale @ Lethal Performance, 20% off! Thanks Lethal! This set was one of the few that would fit my ADV hood.

Then I finished installing my JTops. Learned a few things, I think I went a tad long on the rear, not a big deal, I'll clean it up later. Also because I have the Spartan handles, I had to be mindful on how I stretch the top to both sides. It definitely made it a tad harder, but not impossible. I will say it's on TIGHT. I am very impressed with the JTop product. It is currently 91 here in Miami, with a real feel of 105. I drove around with the top fully down, windows up air on. My cabin was cool. I could feel the sun, but it was like I was under something...LOL :) Even the wife was like hmmm I like this.

I have adjusted the top more since this pic, but I'll say I had about enough in the heat. I'm in Safari mode now, I'll get the windows on later...or leave them off for now.

glued up my sub enclosure platform. it’s a work in progress, but will mount my 12” comprt with about 0.9 ft3 air space with storage room next to it for my recovery boards. building another removable platform to go in front of it, then wiring, and carpeting. heavily inspired by a couple other builds on the forum @margareedaville @22OBX

Not just today but it has been a busy week. I added the Tricky Motor Sports frame horn strengthening kit, a Chinese "OEM" HD Modular Bumper, Rough Country Winch Mount, Warn EVO 10S winch, front terrain camera with monitor, and ASFIR's 1/4 inch aluminum Transfer Case Skid plate. Does this count as a "build"? LOL.

The modular bumper is a pretty dang good copy (well, I've never seen the OEM in person). It is way better than the plastic standard bumper which is a joke IMO. The d-rings from China I replaced with Ford Red d-rings. I have also replaced all by three of the visible bolts with Bronco Bolts. I guess I miscounted or forget the bolts in the chin. So I will order FOUR to allow me a spare in case I missed another one! The bumper was about $700, the red d rings another $120 (or so) and around $100 for the bronco boltss (plus what ever for 4 more). Not bad. I got tired of trying to find a cast off.

The Tricky Motor Sports frame horn kit was a pain to install but I hope well worth it. Why a pain? Will, it is a kit an some fitment is necessary. A grinding well will go, hi ho the merry oh.

The Rough Country Winch mount did not like the Chinese bumper so I ground a wee bit off the bumper where it interfered with the RC. After that the RC cleared the bumper.

Looked at some camera mounts for my camera and took a piece of aluminum and cardboard. Traced around the hawse lead and then added a metal to mount the camera. Finished the sketch on the cardboard. Cut it out and traced it onto some aluminum. Drilled out the holes, bent the metal to make the platform. Painted it black and mounted it. Camera works, aimed downward so I won't run over my stool every again or hit the curb at the mall, etc., etc. The only problem with the camera is the monitor at 7 inches it takes up a lot of real estate. Smaller ones didn't have the same feature from what I found. With this one you can flip around the camera picture to match what you want to see. I have another camera to add (it is only a two channel monitor). Figure I might get some ground camera action from under the Bronco. The other thing is that there is no record but I didn't get it for that. I think it was about $99 with the camera and a way too long cable. Now that I know it works I will order a much shorter cable so I don't have store all that excess stuff.

I was impressed with the quality of the ASFIR transfer case skid. Very nice. Instructions are on video and easy to understand. Of course, that didn't stop me from losing a sheet nut in the frame. Acted like a spring and was gone! I fished around for it for awhile and gave up. Finished the rest of the install and ordered some sheet nuts from Amazon. Only needed one but now I will have enough to fill up my frame rail, more or less. I really wish I had pulled ASFIR before I bought the Broaddick front and engine skids. Those are like 3mm or slightly less than 1/8 inch. Much better than the plastic junk that was on there but I figure only good for road trash and mall crawling. To be fair I had a 2020 Colorado ZR2 Bison diesel with all the armor and never got a chance to take it anywhere off road. Maybe I will with this 23 BB. After I save up some nickels I will be looking to get the fuel tank skids from ASFIR. The company is in Israel and the shipment was by DHL. It was supposed to be here by 8/15 but arrived on 8/11 and installed this morning.

Added 60+ pounds of dead weight.
Adding sound deadner is a major PITA. Budget 2-3x the amount of time you think it will take. Budget 1.5-2x the amount of materials you think it will take.
The doors alone took a full day to do. I did both the doors and the door cards.
They do close with a satisfying thunk now because they're heavy as shit. Added at least 6(rear) to 7(front) pounds to each door.
Having the road noise reduced so much just accentuates how noisy the roof is.
Hopefully the ADV one piece roof helps, if they ever get built.

Just picked him up last week and already started on some modifications for the exterior and interior. So far for the exterior I changed out the grille for the IAG grille with color match letters from UPR. Also added the Raptor inspired fog lights from Mopar.

For the interior I switched out the netting in the door panel for something a little more functional. I got these from Overland Outfitters.

Lastly I added some storage to the tailgate. The molle and bags are from Overland outfitters and the cabinet is from Mountains2Metal. So far very impressed with the quality of everything.

Finally took the White Pony's virginity. Scored door bags, harness and mid panel bag for beads and whiskey so had to put them to use!

And.... they fit with the mabett door cup holders. FYI.
