I'm a week behind you with "in production" since 7/21 and no movement with chat and Ford CS stating an ETA of 8/23. I don't know, pretty much expected at this point. I'm built, I know that, but don't know if the IT guy is on vacation or something to push the button that moves us to built status or what??? The worse is behind us ... hopefully.
I've been listed as in production since 6/29 with no changes. Ford chat has an ETA of 8 -14 August up here in Alaska. Ask is it built and response was "produced"

I hadn't really thought to check the dealer inventory to see if mine showed up. Warning ⚠ the price isn't real so don't flame them but thought it was funny. The even weirder thing is that it's showing "in stock" so I sent them an email to check even though I know it's not.

I remember stopping in there when I used to take 44 to Texas. The steering on our 1988 Turdus wagon froze up. They pulled it into the garage, whacked it a couple of times with a big ball peen and sent us on our way. Never even thought about asking for anything. Just good folks! That was over 30 years ago when they were in the old store on the south side of 44.

Yeah. I‘ve seen the ad in Sullivan, MO. Mine has been showing as in stock on my dealer’s website in Marshfield, MO too. Same VIN and all. Same build. I don’t know why they do that. Sales guy said he had 3 people waiting if I back out but told them he didn’t think would happen. I was mad about it at first, but I just talked to him a couple times in person, built the relationship a little, etc. I call it expectation management. I feel really good about it now.

Mine is there too! Looks like I’ll need and extra 100k. Might have to bust open some of my grandkids piggy banks!

Thanks for finding this. Makes it at least feel closer.

Well after getting bumped to an Oct. build week I pretty much gave up on actually ever getting my heritage order by Xmas and a unclaimed pretty basic 2dr big bend showed up at the dealer that had all my “must haves” (2dr, v6, auto, Sasquatch) along with tow and a color I can live with (race red) So against my own advise against big bend trim I bought it. Bird in the hand…should have just kept my original base order…happy enough and spent the last couple days ordering bumpers, sliders, skids along with a few goodies to make it more capable (winch, lights, lift, 37s still on the list)…took it for a 600 mile break in road trip into the mountains previous last few days…comfortable enough, handles pretty good and has adequate power for what it is. Would have liked the Heritage (love the square fenders) but two whole summers without is just too much…good luck ya all!

This is pretty much where I find myself. Sales Manager is getting frustrated that I keep pushing for the Private offer when asking him to try the new path presented by @FordVideoGuy as he claims he has tried working through his Rep and Sales and Inventory specialist multiple time unsuccessfully. But they did take care of the Price Protection piece when I received my OTD number. So, I am still trying to at least get a ticket generated with COVP PHQ sometime between now and when I pick up Friday afternoon. But, I think I am losing the will to continue fighting after all this time waiting...
Funny, those instructions came from my Sales and Inventory Manager.

  • 16 2.3L, 5 2.7L
  • 15 Manual, 6 Auto
  • 11 2dr, 10 4dr
  • Mine is 1 of 4 with very similar specs (Azure Gray, 2.3L, Manual, 2dr), but each with a slightly different combination of options.

Per your signature you were waiting on RR already and the standard Heritage is based on the BB anyway. If it has the mid package you're right where you'd be with the HE except for the HE specific parts so it sounds like a good opportunity to build whatever you like. The KBD flares are good option for the square fenders without breaking the bank so maybe at the end of the day it'll be the better option.

Hmm, I didn't even think about breaking them down. Interesting though that most of us went with the more vintage colors and specs like 2 door and manual. I'm not one to figure out possible combinations based on the options that were available to us, but yeah the big four being engine, trans, doors, and color.
