35! I had 27 at the off rodeo. You're gold.Took the pony on a new trail today.
Hit a section of road that was washed out, not willing to try and cross without more equipment or another rig as an anchor.
Decided to back out a 1/2mile to turn around and try and make the climb back up the hogback into the saddle.
This turn around put me on a weird approach for a rock shelf and for the first time in a long time I was wishing I had a winch and a snatch block....
The pictures never do it justice but this was a bad one... I saw 22° slope to the passenger side on the tach during the approach and then got stuck when I turned into the climb and got into a bad side slide that got saved by roots and rocks.
Finally got it up and over after dropping it into 4low, disconnected sway bar, locked both differentials and took tires to 18psi.
Gf & dog were scared af but I had a blast! This rig's trail manners, when used properly, are absolutely amazing. What a great day!
EDIT: what are the tip ratios for a stock badlands SAS? 22° felt like I was at the limit... anyone know the hard numbers on that stuff?
Installed an eBay hitch and didnt realized how tough 110 ft bls is when you have to tighten bolts under the car

35! Really!?!? I was on a slope with a complex angle putting all the presure on the rear passenger side and 22° passenger side tilt during that climb felt like I was pushing the limits.
Do you have a citation for 35° on a badsas? I would like to know more.
unless you were getting some tire lift you probably were fine, were they lifting up? I’ve seen lots of tire lift on a lot of rigs over the years and usually even then they are fine

Installed my BroncoRail by 67 Designs today! I absolutely love the build quality, design and the multiple ways it can be configured.
I went with the BroncoRail Half Kit and chose not to use the provided screws and screw the ends into the dash. They provide 3M adhesive also, didn’t use that either. It’s so sturdy I don’t see a reason.

Yes, I was getting the front driver tire lifting and the back passenger sliding out. It's a shame the dumb ford offroad app never works because I want that angle and approach data!
Automatoc sway bar disconnect was awesome here and this instance was the first real need and use of that feature on trail other than times i have been experimenting with it for fun. That combined with the lower tire pressure and locking the front diff made the difference between being totally stuck in a bad spot and powering up, over, and out of it! Now I wish I had sway bars with active disengagement on all of my trucks.

Here are two more shots, wanted to grab my wife's phone to take a pic of my phone in it this weekend but kept forgetting. It's adjusted so I can still have clearance with anything in the first cup holder and I moved it so my wife can still use the grab handle if needed.
I'll probably order a 6" USBC to USBC cord so it's not wrapped up like that.
