This week.
Installed Turn Offroad tailgate reinforcement. I’ve done 4 hours of rough gravel road and a day of off road trails and am happy with the purchase. Will be a great addition when I move to 37s in the spring.

Are those chase lights on the tire?

Oh and this weekend my cousin helped me remove the double honk, add rock crawl to my wildtrak and change the powerpoint time out to 16 hours.

Things to note, I believe anytime anything is done remotely (IE remote start, or even unlock via app) powerpoint cuts out. I need to see if that is something that can be changed too. Also installed a rear husky cargo liner.

Depending on your wheels, you could also install them inside the wheels. That's where I have mine - A little more low profile.

Well today....I did not do it, but the guys over at 4WP did. Finally had the relocation bracket for my front sensor installed. When I did the WARN Elite, there were no brackets. Well, now there are quite a few really good ones. So now I can use my adaptive cruise control, and no more errors about the sensor being blocked.

Installed my Bimini in prep for the trip to the OBX next week. Have to admit, I’m very impressed for a $50 Amazon purchase. Top went back on nicely. Even has a zipper so you can access the t tops, if you don’t have a friend handy to take off the full top. Thinking of either painting g or vinyl wrapping the roll cage in black. Any thoughts, input or experience?

Took the bronco on a outing to Tahuya ORV park.

Took the pony on a new trail today.

Hit a section of road that was washed out, not willing to try and cross without more equipment or another rig as an anchor.

Decided to back out a 1/2mile to turn around and try and make the climb back up the hogback into the saddle.

This turn around put me on a weird approach for a rock shelf and for the first time in a long time I was wishing I had a winch and a snatch block....

The pictures never do it justice but this was a bad one... I saw 22° slope to the passenger side on the tach during the approach and then got stuck when I turned into the climb and got into a bad side slide that got saved by roots and rocks.

Finally got it up and over after dropping it into 4low, disconnected sway bar, locked both differentials and took tires to 18psi.

Gf & dog were scared af but I had a blast! This rig's trail manners, when used properly, are absolutely amazing. What a great day!

EDIT: what are the tip ratios for a stock badlands SAS? 22° felt like I was at the limit... anyone know the hard numbers on that stuff?

I think they said 23 degrees at the Off-Roadeo.

Yikes! I can vouch for that after today... 22° felt very precarious. I didn't realize I was that close to the threshold.... be safe everyone.

Got home and didn’t wash it after a weekend of trails in northern Michigan. Didn’t find much mud but the dust was fierce.

I am looking for posts that talk about this issue but I feel like the search feature is "selective" in what it returns.

Does anyone have any links or literature about the tip ratios and information regarding the Bronco from NTSB, Ford, or other sources?

I want better knowledge about this vehicles approach, tip, and camber angles than what I am finding by using the 6g googleBot search feature.
