So, I think I figured a rough time frame when my Bronco will be built. I’m just posting this so that if anyone else is comfortable with assumptions and wants a ballpark date for when they’ll get their Bronco, they can do the math themselves.

Someone on this forum created a sequential list of the Bronco reservations list (last updated Sept 8th when there were 150,000 reservations’). If I were on that list of 3973 reservations, I’d be 454. That would place me 11.42% from the top of the list. If we assume that the list of 3973 reservations are representative of all 150,000 reservations that there were at the time, that means I was the 17,130th person to make a reservation.

Next, the Wayne, MI plant where the Bronco is going to be made alongside Rangers can make 5300 units per week (per Wikipedia). It made 90,000 Rangers in 2019 (1730/wk). If we assume that they will build the same number of Rangers in 2021 that they built in 2019, then they will have capacity to make 3570 Broncos a week (assuming they run at full capacity). So, 17,130/3570=4.8. My Bronco will be made late in the 4th week of production.

It’s been leaked that production will start in “March”. No specific day. I’m assuming March 14th. I’m assuming it’ll be a slow ramp up for the first two weeks and for all intents and purposes the production run starts in earnest April 1st.

So if the assumptions that I made here hold true (and there are admittedly a lot of assumptions) and Ford builds the Broncos in the order they received the reservations, that would mean my Bronco will be built late in the first week of May, delivery likely the second week in May.

There's a lot of speculation here. Here's what I will tell you. I hope and pray that what you have said is right, but Ford's track record of doing things on time so far has been abysmal, so don't get your hopes up. Hope for the best but expect and be prepared for the worst.

Interesting, what day in July are you? I am too lazy to check.

Thought I read somewhere there was a potential delay from March to April. And with second Pandemic wave starting to show its head in Europe and seeing an increase of cases here, it wouldn't surprise me if Bronco delivers dont come until late Summer/early Fall of 2021. Which I'm happy with because it allows more time to save up to put down a larger down payment.

In all reality, my thoughts are on no earlier than September 2021 for me. I reserved on July 20, a week after the reveal.

Deliveries are targeted for June. I reserved third day and I’m hopeful for an August delivery but more likely September+.

I had mentally prepared myself for an August/September timeframe based on nothing. I'm still mentally prepared for August/September but it's good to know I might be able to drive around with the top off next summer.

And add a few more weeks in between when your car is built and when it is delivered. A normal time frame is at least 2-4 weeks to get to your dealer. Sometimes as many as 5-8 weeks. That's why Ford is saying expect initial deliveries in June.

Same I'm cool with waiting. My lease on current vehicle isn't up till late spring 2022. So close delivery is to that the better for me.

I finally pulled the trigger last weekend. So I’m guessing it’ll be 2022, which is fine. Nevertheless, I can hope it’ll be earlier.
