Heritage Edition - Supply Chain delays

Sadly, I received an email from Ford (yesterday 7/26) indicating my 2-door/MT/Mid-Package Heritage Edition has been delayed due to supply chain issues with a build date - week of 7/17. When looking at the order tracking site, almost every day in July, it indicated it was in production as of June 30th and a window sticker was available. Would this mean production had started, but now it pulled from the production line and sitting in a dark corner somewhere?.

Did your modules populate and tear tag created or your Ford pass app recognize the vehicle?. Mine did and I still got the e-mail.

It goes to 'in production' status about a week before it's on the assembly line. There is a 'blend date' on the window sticker which indicates what day it's scheduled to be built.... check that date and also as mentioned above, whether the modules/tear tag have been populated.

1) Window-sticker blend date: 20230718
2) Modules and tear tag are populated.
3) FordPass App does recognize the vehicle, but cannot yet be activated.

Does that mean Bronco has or is being built?

That means it’s built but……..still could be missing some part. That’s the difficulty of not getting the “built” or “shipped “ notification. But it could also be loaded on a truck or rail car and we just don’t know. But you know it’s closer than not being built.

Those are generated emails. Almost everyone on here has gotten them. A good amount of the time it has no relevance to your build. You can do a search here and see.

@gjacobbrown I went through the same thing in June. Got a Window sticker, modules and tear tag populated, and about two weeks later I got this same email. In fact most of us got this email even a few who already had their Broncos. This is a blanket email. Now that said, you may still have a while to go. My build date was 9 June, It did not ship until 29 June. I did not receive any notice or updates until 2 days ago. However I did call Ford chat/marketing on 30 June and they told me it had shipped and where is was in Indiana. I have been tracking it ever since. It is now about 90 miles from my house. Should be here next week.

@gjacobbrown Also, go to the thread 7/17/2023 Build Week Thread Others have received the email although their bronco has shipped. Most importantly, it give you some folks to interact with going through the exact timelines as you. I was towards the end of the production week, and sure enough I was a the end of members of my build week community. Point is, members on that thread started getting shipping info and it was in approximate order of build, not exact but those that got built early in the week got shipped first although we all were delayed a few weeks.

Just keep an eye out for a 'built' status in your tracker or a Ford e-mail, that's all you can do at this point. It could be days or a few months, especially if it's missing parts. Even shipping can be delayed. Mine was built 3/26 and sat for two months before it got shipped on 5/28. Then it sat in the railcar for 18 days before it got unloaded! You just have to wait, and be prepared to wait some more. Good luck, hope it gets to you quickly!

Good luck! They kept my 4dr up there waiting for 9 months last year. Now my 2dr is going on it's 3 month sitting at Ford now. Been "built" awaiting shipping for 2 months now. Only 200 miles away. Still waiting for my 45 day update as to why. Meaningless

I just called the Ford Marketing 1-800 number and they did confirm my Bronco was built and could/maybe be delivered in mid-August. I'm hopeful but won't be surprised if it is delivered much later.

Same, mine was built 3/26 and I received a "built eMail" and then it wasn't shipped until the end up May. I didn't receive until 6/13. Point is, you could be in for a 2 month delay. We suspect that it was the roof rack supply chain issue or the front safari bar as when I finally received the baby pic shortly after shipping, it was dated 3/26 and showed fully built (but obviously didn't have the roof rack or safari bar yet since that's installed in a separate location) - I guess it could've been missing something else on the interior, etc.

UPDATE - Supply chain issues. Has anyone else from the week 7/18 build received one of these? Ford did confirm it was "produced" (6 weeks ago) but never got to built status.
