7s Knuck: what dealer did you get yours at in so cal. Trying to workout private offeralmost... that one actually got built!
It's tempting. Someone posted a beautiful pic of a two door, robins egg blue HEL, on the FB page. Said it was available for $2k over sticker. $73,000. Awesome looking Bronco but I should be getting my 2 door manual HE for $44k with my private offer. No way I could justify another $30k.I may have an opportunity to buy a HEL 2 door I know it's a lot of money but I may pull the trigger. With all this uncertainty and not knowing I I'm going to get my Bronco makes me nervous
Yeah, dealers have zero motivation to help us. If you walk away, they'll slap a nice ADM on it and clean up. Don't walk away. Call Ford marketing. Have your sales manager reach out to the local Ford rep or brand manager. It IS applicable. I've been working on it for weeks already.Waited three years for my bronco, went to pick it up today and they couldn’t figure out the PO, wouldn’t even tell me that they would send a check like they have to a few of you guys have picked up Heritage editions.. after being at the dealer for four hours had to leave.. I’m beside myself.
. Headed back over there tomorrow and hopefully getting some answers. It’s been a three year @Ford I really hope this works out.Yeah, dealers have zero motivation to help us. The powertrain is outdated for sure. No question about it. Im pretty sure the powertrain would run, trouble free, for 300k miles however. I installed a sprint booster and it's made all the difference in the world as far as drivability. I've had 4 4Runners and have never had squeaks or rattles. Looking forward to the Bronco and comparing the two.If I bought another 4Runner, that would be it. Love the color!
We've got a 2018 TRD Offroad (not Pro). Love it, but it's got more squeaks and rattles than our Broncos. Also, it's grossly underpowered when it's loaded down. Absolutely miserable to drive in the mountains when compared to the Bronco. Weight is within a couple hundred pounds of our 2 Door Bronco, but the Bronco completely outperforms it.
Not hating on the 4Runner at all; it's a great vehicle, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you get your Bronco.

I agree with you 100% on the powertrain. I've never used the sprint booster, but have entertained the idea of installing a Magnuson kit on it. It needs something! The powertrain is outdated for sure. Call Bronco support at 1-800-334-4375. I spoke to them last night and they told me that I could have the dealership call them and they would help them with applying the discount. I'd call tonight and speak to someone and complain that you've been waiting three years and your dealer refuses to apply your certificate. Last night, they confirmed my certificate and told me that it is absolutely applicable to the standard Heritage. Call the owner of the dealership if you have to. Don't let them steal your Heritage.. Absolutely buy a sprint booster. You will be amazed. Works flawlessly. I've been using one for years and it transforms the 4Runner. The issue with the 4Runner isn't a lack of power but the lazy throttle mapping that Toyota programmed in. Check out Burtman industries. He'll take it back if you're not complete satisfied.I agree with you 100% on the powertrain. I've never used the sprint booster, but have entertained the idea of installing a Magnuson kit on it. Be interested to hear your thoughts on the Bronco after you've had time to compare it. I think you'll love it!
Fort Leonard Wood area. I got family just north of Gadsden on Lake Weiss! Should be headed that way around Columbus Day.Mine was a 7/12 blend with nothing since then, so I called.
What part of Missouri?
I will be driving it back to Alabama.
I used to live about 60 miles east of Springfield, been around the Wood a bit.Fort Leonard Wood area. I got family just north of Gadsden on Lake Weiss! Should be headed that way around Columbus Day.
