Raptor would be fun for driving at stupid speed off road in the desert. Which... I don't do. So I'd pick the Heritage. Because stick shift. And the larger 2-door cabin is much more comfortable.

There are mods to fix it, and where are you using the spec sheet?

I’m talking about the 3.0 engine, 37s, Fox suspension and Hoss 3.0 rack which can’t be obtained without a raptor.

3 outta 4 of them can be added or retrofitted or done better.

To paraphrase Meatloaf, 3 outta 4 ain't bad

The perception that the Raptor is only for (or fun for) high speed desert use is simply a misperception.

2 out of 4. Fox yes, fully active Fox shocks integrated with vehicle inertial system and travel sensors providing real time and coarse adjustments, no, absolutely not.

At what price? Unless you are doing the work yourself, it's going to get expensive. To get a setup like on a Raptor you would need to go with the basic setup, knowing you will replace everything.

That will not be cheap. Its the same in the Mustang world. I can build a 5.0 to be as fast as a GT500. Sure. You can. But to do ALL these things a GT500 brings, it's going to cost. A lot.

To setup like a Raptor It's just not about swapping suspension bits and tires.

Honestly, I've only got coilovers for my girl as I busted something offroading and figured it was time, otherwise I'd be 33's for a long time, and even then, not in a rush to upgrayedd.

If the Braptor was available in 2dr and Manual, I'd be interested, but again, it's a butched up Flex

I'll take half.

Also, COULD a 3v V8 fit in my engine bay? If so, find an adaptor kit for a tremec for the 4wd system and have something more unique

So a 2dr with 37s, 74weld rack and Fox shocks wouldn't be a butched up Flex? Seems like you're stirring the pot here...

I think the 2 are not even comparable, leagues apart with styling and performance depending on what you like and plan to do with it.

For me, even if I was not planning on off road ventures, I am one of those that'd still want the raptor. But that's just my opinion. If I wasn't aware of the heritage edition and saw one, I would definitely look at the owner with a WTF did he just do to that bronco.

The difference is so far apart, someone who appreciates the raptor would generally not appreciate the heritage edition, and vice versa.
