Thank you!Plenty of Forest service roads up in the mountains, that's mainly what we drive on. Also Cashes valley if you want to ford some rivers, but with all the rain they're probably pretty stout right now!
One we've been meaning to get back to is the trail head for Springer Mountain and the start of the AT. It's got a series of different roads back there.
We have a house in Morganton that we go to every other weekend and like to do FSR 35 and the other side of 60 has another dirt road, both connect to major roads and are about a 30min trip on the dirt. Nothing crazy, normal cars could do it, but it's a good starter road.
Feel free to PM about any gear you may need. I’m no expert, but have made the purchases and done a good bit of research and have done off-roading for about 20 years, but no rock crawling or extreme stuff.Appreciate it! Yeah, grew up in B’ham and did some off roading in cars not made for it! 35 years later I have the real thing! Will definitely join GA Broncos and look forward to good times! We did the Austin off rodeo but that’s it for Broncos. Gearing up but way behind. Thx again, happy trails!
