The real question is which choice will make you smile just a little bit more 12 months from now, 24 months from now? No one on here can answer that for you. Only you can answer that. When you make the choice... NEVER second guess that..... you will make the best choice for you based on the information you currently have. You will be happy, you will be mad, and the whole time, you will have the car you wanted. Smile... You will make the right decision for you.

Rough decision! Are both of them at the same dealer? Have you talked with them about maybe giving you a little off the top of whichever you choose for giving them either a stock WT or HE for them to sell?

I've stuck by my order this whole time and knew I wanted a 2 door but plenty here order and trade them out like they're Skittles. About the only bit of advice I can give is that WTs aren't going anywhere, you could order another one today but HEs are non orderable right now and probably will be once the order banks open up for '24 until they get caught up if they even continue on with the trim.

Either way isn't a bad choice.

Both are at the same dealer. An anomaly that they arrived within days of one another. I had no idea that the WT was built or being delivered. I've been tracking the HE. I found several of the exact WT builds online in the combination I ordered. I concur, I could reorder a WT. Sensible conversations are to take the HE and the PP($1,500) and transition offer($3,880). The Heritage would likely serve as a family vehicle and look at getting a 2 DR later down the road. I appreciate the advice. I'm ambivalent to say the least. I'd be happy either way but hey, maybe it's the opportunity to get the his and hers without the preemptive planning. I'll be making a decision by Monday, some conversations still need to occur.

I ordered a 2 door WT back on 3/27 and it arrive at the dealership this past Thursday. I haven't picked it up as I'm working through a credit union and today was just told my 3+ year order arrived which is the Heritage. So big decision needs to be made, honestly I'm leaving towards the WT as it was my initial build but then moved it to a Heritage due to the threats Ford put out about commodity restraints. I'd lose out on my PP of $3,800 but would prefer to pick up the one that I'm more likely to keep forever. Interesting. I've ordered two broncos, one being 3+ years out and the other 3 months out and they show up days of one another.
If money is not a big factor on which you choose, and it doesn't sound like it is, you need to get the one you want as you will own and drive it for a while. Based on the very limited info in your post, it sounds like you want the WT. Go with your gut. Either will be great, but which will you long for most if you don't get it?

I am a fan of the slide out tailgate. The weight load, at 600 pounds is pretty significant too. I ordered mine with options including the side out tailgate, upgrade lights, pre-wired switches, and keypad entry. Pretty happy with those choices and expect the tailgate to get a bunch of use.

What exactly do you mean?

I've been going round and round with my dealer on price protection. We've spent hours on the phone with Ford. I've been told all along price protection would apply to my reservation and now that I'm close to delivery Ford seems to have amnesia.

Here's my story:
  • I secured a reservation for a Wildtrak on July 14, 2020
  • My dealer converted my reservation to an order on October 6, 2022 for a 2DR HE MT
  • Order was confirmed by Ford on October 7, 2022.
  • Bronco was schedule for production January 19, 2023 and since then i've received more than a dozen date changes.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get my price protection certificate to show up on Smart Vincent?

Here's a couple good links I've found while digging. Thought I'd share since some folks are getting close to taking delivery.

I bought mine this week and the dealer said it doesn't apply on the Heritage and nothing showed up in SV and when they called Ford, they were told I had no private offers. Ford Marketing Center told me at least 5x that I had $3620 due to a 7/13/20 FE reservation that was converted to the HE order 10/22.

I'm having the same issue. Waiting to hear that someone was able to apply it as promised by Ford. Did the change the rules midstream???
^^ my situation

I'm being told Ford won't let you use your private offer on the Heritage anyway. My dealership has been working on getting clarification but so far crickets from the Ford rep. To be continued....
^^ my situation

See the way the original rear fenders were? On the two door only HEs Ford mimicked the shape above the rear flare.

Anyrate, I'm still waiting to get built and I have a cert in the system from my '21 order along with whatever price protection I should be getting so hopefully Ford gets this resolved for us standard Heritage's quickly.

Ahhh, I see it now. Thanks for explaining. That’s really neat.

I love reading the 6G posts! I’ve gotten a lot of great info. from everyone.
I reserved a 2 door Wildtrak w/ SAS & Lux packages in ‘20. I confirmed the order in ‘21 and received the email from Ford in January, ‘23 advising I cancel my order due package constraints and reorder a 2024 model. I went to my Ford dealership the next day in person and they advised me to keep the Wildtrak order and wait (and pray 😂) Ford doesn’t cancel my order. I had just seen the Heritage Limited listed on the Bronco website and asked the dealership if they were expecting one. By sheer luck, Ford had sent them an email that morning informing them they were listed to receive a HLE. Since I wasn’t certain I was getting the Wildtrak, and the dealership hadn’t promised the HLE to another customer, I told them I would take it.
Long story short, 2 months later Ford confirmed the Wildtrak would be built this year and it was delivered to the dealership in June (see pic).
My older brother is a big Bronco fan, so I handed my Wildtrak order over to him.
My HLE order is now set to built the week of 8/21. 🤞
