Did a little under the hood upgrade today. Thank you to Diode Dynamics and their Memorial Day weekend sale. Mounted two of their double power mode rock lights under the hood for nite service if needed in the boonies. WOW !!!

Took some friends out with the bronco and our can am 80 miles from St. George Utah to the Toroweap overlook of the Grand Canyon.

Handled like a dream on some rough and fast riding and now it’s needing a detailing inside and out!

For anyone in the area, now is the time to make the trip. I didn’t snag pictures but the wild flowers are INCREDIBLE on the way this year.

Beadlock rings on BL optional wheels, @Tricky Dick style rock rails (gotta send em out to powdercoat yet, just spray bombed em for now), and tailgate reinforcement (actually took the RC one off my squatch BL to put on this one, got the Hammerbuilt one for that one...trickle down economics, Bronco style!)

Yes; D.D. switch harness mounted under the hood on the front cowl. Very convenient location.

One light would be sufficient, and lessen the cost. The most important thing is double check location where you mount under the hood! on the most forward light location I went off center to passenger side. You need to clear plumbing on the engine when hood closes! Also underside of hood you need light to mount inside the hood frame support pockets for screw /hole length. [caution here] Double check. I bought D.D. harness" kit " ; remember lights have low and high power; therefore a 3 way switch is required if you desire. the 9' extension comes in the kit for location versatility. Also bought the mounts which are angled. Pricey set up but lights are worth the cost IMO and sale price of 15% helps make the decision. I use all Diode Dynamics products on my truck! Free plug for D.D. !

Cleaned the garage then Took the tops all the way off. No rain and 90 degree weather expected as far as they can see.

Drove home and gave it a hand wash. Was DUSTY after a weekend of Mid-Michigan’s farm trails and seasonal roads. I was stoked to pick it up on Friday after waiting months for repairs from a crash in February.
