Hey All! I’ve seen jeep owners who created DIY carts out of 2x4’s that store the hardtop vertical, instead of paying $200-300 for one. Wondering if anyone has made one for their Bronco yet since the ones on the market don’t fit?

Also very interested in this. There is nothing out there for storing the back half (with the 3 windows) Hard Top for 2 door Broncos.

Hooke Road advertises that is does but not for the 2 door Hard Top.

With the price of wood the already made cart might be cheaper

The issue is, no company makes one that fits the Bronco, at least in this orientation, because the top is shorter than the jeeps.

Exactly. I assume it’s the same build as the jeep ones, just more narrow. I live in an apartment in downtown LA, and don’t really have access to play around with building one. So if someone already has, and has the dims, they would be doing me and I’m sure a lot others, a huge service.

Here is Hooke Road 2 door Bronco option. Doors are still on the rig but will fit inside and under the top. Keeps everything super safe.
Well built easy to use. Works great but a little expensive.

Yeah, those are pretty cool. If I had the space, would totally go that route.

Thx for posting.

I reached out to Hooke Road about 2 months ago and they specifically told me this does not work for a 2 door Bronco. Hmm.

Still hoping for some sort of vertical storage solution.

I did see in another thread that Broaddict was potentially working on something, but they have since gone silent. Might have to bite the built and be the first to try it out.
