Head unit rebooting while driving

My head unit goes black then reboots while driving has anyone else seen this problem yet any help greatly appreciated.Check out photos I attached there what screen is doing.Thanks again

How often does this occur?

When it comes to this stuff, I usually go to the dealership right away for them to check it out under warranty. However, if it’s a very intermittent issue it makes it a bit more challenging.

Does your backup camera stay on in 4L also? There's an update in the works, but its on hold if so. Mine never blacked out then rebooted while driving, but it did when I was working on it, and wouldn't come on at all till I keyed off for 10-15 minutes. Theres definitely some bugs in the software. My Harley does it routinely after 60-90 min of riding...really irritating, always works again after a restart...sometimes reboots itself, sometimes just goes dead

mine has done this a couple times at random it seems. Mostly when I have the apple maps running.

Had it to Dealership they changed a imaging module is what they called it.It is intermittent. Back up camera would stay on a couple minutes while going forward after being in reverse.It happened 5 times this morning on my way home from work first time since dealership had it.

Mine does as you describe. Occasionally "reboots" while driving. It does not bother me too much, and it always seems to come back, so I live with it. The total cycle time when it happens in mine is pretty short. Maybe 15 seconds or so from the black screen to back up and running. Definitely happens when using wireless car play, and I am undecided if it is at all related to hitting decent-sized road imperfections.

I wish mine would do that. Instead it just freezes up and doesn't respond until I shutdown and restart the vehicle again.

Press the power button and the next button for about 10 seconds and it will reboot Sync without having to shutdown and restart the vehicle.

i catch a random quick black screen i think, it swaps to fast back, but i notice it out the side of my eye. it only seems to happen when i am using car play and apple maps.
