I do the same, you might be the only one holding on to May at the moment.

Every two weeks Ford pushes out the lead time by two weeks. These dates are utterly meaningless until Ford figures out the issue(s) preventing these HE Broncos from being produced. This nonsense where they push out artificial dates is embarrassing and insulting to their customers. There are multiple examples of how Ford misinformation has led their customers to make regrettable decisions, e.g. selling an existing vehicle too soon.

A better (more honest) communication from Ford would read something like: “While we were optimistic that we would be able to produce your HE as originally scheduled, at this time Ford is unable to produce your vehicle in accordance with our high standards of quality. Orders will be rescheduled once we are confident we can deliver product that will delight our customers. We expect this to occur in [insert realistic time frame here and state whether the expectation is MY23 or MY24].”

It’s disappointing that Ford cannot produce these vehicles. It isn’t clear to me whether the issues could have been prevented. But it is unacceptable how badly Ford has mucked up the communication with their customers. I, for one, am happy to continue driving my current vehicle while I wait for my HE. But I do not appreciate that Ford does not respect me enough to tell me the truth in their biweekly e-mails.

They will get here eventually. Just tough all the push backs and is quite similar to the MIC1 issue and Dirt Mountain it appears. At least they aren’t built and just sitting there for months I suppose that’s a good thing.

I haven’t even gotten biweekly emails. The last one I got since a confirmation of an outer banks luxe I didn’t order (dealer supposedly fixed next morning and sent me the build and msrp agreement) was a “get ready for your new bronco” email with some YouTube video of a lady working on a classic bronco.
No updates since and waiting to hear back from the dealer. My ford login doesn’t even show I have an order or reservation but dealer said the build sheet has my order number on it and until I get a scheduled for production or vin I won’t be able to track it.

Unsure if any of this is legit or makes sense but they seem like decent people so hopefully I’ll get my HE at some point this year.

Maybe we all get pushed to Job 2 and get the 7 speaker system installed with operational subwoofer and amp, we get additional colors to choose from for our HE, and the MT issues are resolved. Haha yeah right. I really hope they start producing these vehicles soon. I just checked after reading everyone's recent posts and I'm still showing week of May 29 and week of May 31.

Aren't we in Job 2 now? Thought March 27th was that date as well when they opened up the order banks again. I was wondering if Ford ever plans on adding back in the subwoofer, would be a nice waiting gift and yes, along with an updated and quiet manual transmission!

Thank you for confirming I was a bit worried since I couldn’t see it. I was given a copy of a DORA as well as an out the door price sheet signed by dealer.
