Sounds like the same people who complain the Sport isn't a "real Bronco," then buy a 4dr with more bells and whistles than a fully kitted Chrysler Town & Country and a higher lift than Grave Digger.
In terms of body on frame and wrangler competitor they are correct. The bronco sport is not the same type of vehicle (unibody). But both are great for their class of vehicle and are extremely capable and are great choices depending upon your needs and wants. But, they are definitely not anything alike and it's fair to say they are not. But, I don't get the hate for the sport, other than I think full size bronco owners got tired of hearing "why did u by a unibody vehicle, it's so small, it's no wrangler", only to have to explain they had purchased a full size bronco and that the sport was a completely different vehicle.

2021 rare would probably be 2 Door Base Sasquatch in Iconic Silver . By the take rate your looking at less than a few dozen.

Hate to break it to you but full size Bronco owners look down on midsize 6Gs like 6G owners look down on BIIs and Sports.

The G6 is a midsized SUV not a Full sized like the F150 based models were.

In the end the Sport is canonically a Bronco, since Ford owns the Bronco canon.

Didn't say it wasn't part of the Bronco family, just saying I thought that was likely why the hate occurs and that the two current vehicles, sport and bronco, are definitely different types of vehicles.

But I'm glad both are hits for Ford and are great vehicles for their segments.

I am kind of confused by the correlation you are making in your statement. Are you saying if you buy a highly optioned vehicle it is somehow not pure or the real thing anymore?

Initially wasn’t surprised since it’s Area 51. You could kind of blame Ford for that. They never should have allowed that color to be one of the select colors for the FE

But also assumed it would have navy pier interior which it doesn’t. It’s the double black interior unique to the FE. you’d think with an interior that special that wrapping the exterior would leave you with a pretty special bronco. But at that rate, what the point of an FE that needs to be wrapped.

This First Edition only brought $66,000 at the Barrett Jackson Palm Beach auction including the buyer's commission. Maybe one day the First Editions will be worth something extra but looks like not today. The original msrp on this unit would have been around $63,000 and at this price based on taxes and fees to register the owner may have actually lost money.

Not sure why folks would think it would bring more. I remember all of the folks on this site telling me these trucks will go up in price. Oh well!!

I’m with you there but so many that bought them thought they had something more valuable than the rest and that’s just not so.

So they should have just given the FE ugly colors that very few wanted, that would be eventually discontinued? I could see where that would be a selling point for the very few that where not going to use them, but for marketing purposes, withholding the best colors from your highest paying customers seems like a bad idea.
As for the "double black interior", beside the seats, isn't the trim the same as the Base Bronco? Having not sat inside a FE and only looking at photos, it looks like it's pretty much identical, in color and material as the $29K Base.

Was only missing the "moar door" comment too!
That wasn’t intended to drop a deuce on the four door crowd. I was just stating a fact. 2 doors produced in lower numbers. Look around at the collectible car market and in most cases, the coupe version of a car produced as a coupe and sedan, will be valued higher, all other things being equal. Exceptions, or course.

I think you are right about the interior material, I believe it is the same on all trims except for a few color accents here or there.

I feel the FE is a bastard child hence why I skipped it for the price and my order was a BL high package Carb Gray 4 door, best of everything off road with cameras and disco. A real bronco doesn't have leather seats and carpet period. Also why I have what seems undesirable braptor with MGV which I actually off road lol. Collectors be collectors, but isn't my roadeo.
