Ford emailed me this morning with an estimated delivery date of 4/11-4/17. Seems like a pretty aggressive timeline considering it’s still sitting in Michigan lol

Yep. My sales guy is saying he wants something in writing from Ford saying they will be reimbursed the price protection since it’s almost 7 grand. It’s been a giant headache.

On a train still, currently traveling from Ohio to it's next stop in Indiana.
Stopped into the dealer today to drive a manual badsquach they have on the lot (first time) and to ensure we were on the same page as far as private offer and price protection. Seems like we are. And they are applying the private offer to the selling price instead of a check from Ford after I buy which is nice. I'm still a bit reserved but happy with the direction things are rolling

Mine just got to Nashville this week, still has about another week before it reaches the final destination. I've been in contact with my dealer all week trying to get the price squared away (them honoring the $2,595 private offer). I emailed 'The Ford Video Guy' from YouTube and he found my private offer ($2,595) and provided me the documentation for the price protection. I texted and emailed my dealer that plus what my total deductions should be based on all that ($6,013) and I'm waiting to hear back.

I have been banging my head against the wall on this too. Ford says they can't find my private offer and asks to contact the dealer who has business resources provided to the dealer. Dealer is pointing back to Ford and is of no help. Vehicle is still being built, but trying to sort out the price and price protection before it arrives.

Can you elaborate on the total deductions ($6,013)? There is the Model Year Transition Private Offer ($2,595). And the mid-year price protection (varies depending on options/trim). And there was the order modification incentive for those dropping Sasquatch, LUX, MIC HT, etc.

From what I can gather, the assembly line picture Ford sends is sort of like a lottery. Guess I got lucky as I just got an email from Ford! Mine was Built 4/05 and shipped 4/06. Waiting on it to arrive at the dealer. Looks like someone's Raptor is right behind mine.

For anyone going through the price protection/private offer debate with your dealer, stick with it and be persistent. Get the higher ups from Ford involved. I provided all the documentation and information given on the forums here. My Badlands came in on Tuesday with the sticker nearly $7k more than my 2023 Dora and I finally took delivery last night at the correct protected price.
