My secondary status for about a week and a half has been "returned from body company" Is this the same as the mod shop? Or am I doomed to wait even longer for my sticker and hitch, thanks to getting PPF?

Original delivery estimate was 4/18... right before my birthday and I was super excited. Should I just logically assume it's more like Mid-May?

This one is tricky- it does usually state mod shop Not body company- but- logistics wise, Ford may be subbing out to 3rd party body shops to perform this work to meet demand.

The time frame if 4.18 is possible
Where do you live , and what is your status? Still in production, produced, waiting to ship?

Using a new private/icognito window every time I check has worked most reliably for me. I just right click the track button and select open in a new private window.

Thanks for the suggestion, but still not working. I'll just give it more time.

You are on a ramp to be loaded onto railcar- your timeframe means either this morning or Monday/Tuesday you would most likely see it change to -in shipping or shipped .. if it goes much longer you can ask your dealer to involve zone rep to place as “Hot”- however unless you miss your estimated arrival date, you are technically not delayed.

Quick question:

Did you have to switch to using the BNSF tracker link once your car cleared the Blue Island Interchange? Mine was accepted there 2 days ago, and nothing since. I've tried the BNSF link you have listed, and it says no rail car info. I then called UP's trace, and the last time the car was on their line was in January.

Still hoping it makes it to me before my BDay, so tracking it is my new Bronco Obsession....

Tracking was updated via same calling options. I was able to call 24/7… and I did. No need to switch, although some going east or south east have stated .
Calling BNSF is your best bet, but BI interchange can be a few days for your car to be placed on a route to destination, and it could take a few days for system to populate. Getting to BI is a great start!

What does 'on the road' in VinView mean?

I was in 'built' status on 3/26 and was told it was 'awaiting shipment' primary status, and 'Released' for secondary status on 4/8.

It's supposed to travel via rail to Wilmington, De. Then trucked up to my dealer in Pa.
A friends was 'built' 2/27 and shipped via rail on 4/7. It's coming to the same dealership in Pa.

Customer service wasn't sure what VinView was saying either, she thought it meant it was placed on a truck, not rail.

I haven't had any tracking updates since 3/26. ETA is still showing 4/9-4/15.
Is it possibly on it's way via truck? or likely still parked in Flat Rock waiting to be put on a train?

Just drive it there..... (although I'm am sure there is a liability policy preventing that.)

If you have any add-ons, like roof racks, steps, etc that need to be done at the mod shop, or any stickers... that need to be done at the body shop.... it delays "built" status or so it seems.

Mine was definitely held up by my WT stickers........

Primary Status was 'awaiting shipment' when I contacted Ford via chat on 4/8 and 4/9.
On 4/8, Ford Chat said Secondary Status shows 'Released'. What is secondary status?

When I asked yesterday (4/12), she said 'awaiting shipment' as of 3/26. (obviously not up-to-date info!)
I phoned CSR today, but all she sees is the VinView, and doesn't have any other information.

The 'On the road' 4/8 shown on the VinView threw me for a loop.
I really have no idea if it's on a truck or still parked waiting to be loaded on a rail car.

Supposedly, I get an update if it doesn't show up by the original 4/15 ETA.
