I was told the certificate showed up a couple of days after the vehicle was built and the customer was able to claim it at time of delivery. I was also told by Ford Marketing that I should wait until the vehicle has been built, but that seems uncommon on this forum. Ford Marketing said it wasn't uncommon for the Private Offer to not show up until the vehicle was produced. I'm just trying to get this last hurdle out of the way while I wait for my production date. Thanks for any help on this matter.
I don’t believe that is accurate, at least not for me.

I called Ford Customer Service after I deleted SAS and LUX weeks ago to ensure my Modification Certificate was there. Both MY Transition and Order Modification Private Offers were there.

Sadly as all have reported different program numbers but same cert number.

My 2dr BL is scheduled for next week.

I’m wondering this cause I have no certificates showing and my bronco got shipped….
The certificates should be there now.

You'll have to work with your dealers (and your dealers will need to work with Ford) to get them placed into the system if they are missing. There are many reasons why it may not be in the system—could be a simple typo, or perhaps your dealer forgot to COVP the order, or maybe you moved between when you originally ordered the vehicle and now. (If you did move, you want to contact Ford's Customer Service and have them look up your certificate using your old zip code or email rather than your current zip code.)

Note that Ford prioritizes orders with VINs. So if you don't have a VIN yet, may just want to sit tight for a bit. There are so many people covered by price protection right now across multiple vehicle lines and Ford is a little backed up, so any requests from your dealer will probably be ignored until you have a VIN.

You do qualify for Column D.

The window sticker invoice date was March 16th, which was after the March 15th cutoff date listed in the flowchart... meaning you qualify for Column D.

(Because your invoice date was so close to the cutoff date I wanted to verify that the base price actually had the increased pricing, and it does. Thanks for sharing that info.)

Thank you for your message and clarification. Much appreciated. So then I should get $4850 back.

I called Ford customer service and had a not-so-pleasant conversation with a rep there. They said I qualify only for $2350 (model year transition private offer aka Smart VINCENT). However they had no knowledge of the Retail Price Protection. In fact they kept saying talk to your dealer. When I asked I wanted to make sure I had my facts straight vis a vis just Ford, they got quite indignant. First time trying to buy a Ford...might be my last.

While not agent's fault, Ford really could have done a much better job trying to alleviate this whole ridiculous situation. I feel for those that have waited nearly 3 years. My patience level would be close to zilch by now.

So my follow up question is does Ford Cust Svc not keep track of the Retail price protection items, e.g., Columns C-D?

Thank you again - super helpful.

Ford does not keep track of C-D which covers the mid-year price increase. Dealers have been notified and it's up to them to pass it on to the buyer or pocket it.

Agree that Ford Customer Service does not keep track of Retail Price Protection for the dealers on the front end but on the back end, following a sale, someone at Ford calculates what Retail Price Protection they owe your dealer and pay them in 45-60 days.

IMO, the best way to handle this is to tell your dealer to look at the Retail Price Protection information Ford provided to them, which I've been told for 2023 is at least the following documents:
(1) C&I/Pricing Announcement: EFC12360
and
(2) C&I/Pricing Announcement: EFC12491

Agree with both @PC Austin and @OuterBankSquatch ... it's on the dealer to track Retail Price Protection.

Theoretically Ford Customer Service could do it, but they would need access to your order's DORA to calculate it, and I'm guessing they don't have the ability to look up or regenerate DORAs.

That said... I've never personally dealt with Ford's Customer Service—I just go to my dealer (whom thankfully already understands how this all works)—so I honestly have no idea what their capabilities are.

Well drats - so now it's up to the dealers to be "fair and knowledgeable" about these things...

Thank you again folks for your help. Here's to hoping....

They are all “knowledgeable” about this.

It’s not Bronco specific.

Literally, this happens dozens and dozens of times a year.

The Ford Video Guy covers this in detail.

I would have to defer to Granger and/or Granger customers who already picked up their vehicle. Granger ran a below-invoice deal and it seems you were apart of that promotion they were running. I don't know how their pricing works, and I don't know how they are achieving their below-invoice pricing.

I would assume they are actually charging you ~$63,520, and then utilizing the $3260 private offer from Ford to achieve the agreed upon ~$59,900 price. If they aren't doing it that way... then Granger has been losing money on Bronco sales for much of the past 3 years, and I don't see how that could be sustainable for them. But that is wild speculation on my part.
Thanks. Looking back at the various communications with a granger, it does appear they will apply the $3,620 private offer as a further reduction on the agreed upon price of “invoice minus $2k”.

Question for other Granger customers who have taken recent deliveries. Did Granger deduct your private offer at the time of sale? And did they separately credit you for any retail price protection you were eligible for?

I don't believe it either, but it's my only hope at this point. I have Ford's emails with dates for each time I placed my order for each MY, have all the Ford swag they've sent me telling me to be patient, but have no certificate. I can't believe I'm hanging on for a "my dealer said" (Drink!) and Ford Marketing said. I haven't moved and asked them to check all my previous zip codes since I was a kid and nothing is in the system. Not sure what else to do.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Ford would make something like this for us AND dealers? There would be zero confusion…..but, then again, that would just mean there is common sense involved.

A member on the forum created it based on information supplied by Ford over the past few years. This was not created by Ford. All they have created has been confusion.

Thanks! I agree with the confusion!
