Thanks. So is it about not getting PP (I am 21->22->) AND 2500 at the same time? Do I get it right?

  • Model Year Transition Private Offer - This price protection is delivered via private offer certificates in Smart VINCENT under Pgm #38644. It is design to protect price increases for those who have been bump from the 2021/2022 model years to the 2023 model year.
    • Your price protection amount is determined by what you had on order as as of September 9th, 2022.
    • You and/or your dealer may decide to apply this certificate to the final selling of the Bronco, or may wait to receive a check from Ford.

Yes, that's what this thread is about.

However, OP is just passing along what a customer service rep said (drink) so it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. It doesn't appear that he has purchased his Bronco yet so for the meantime it is just all speculation.

It’s correct that I haven’t purchased the Bronco yet but it‘s in production now and I will be finalizing the sale in a few weeks. I hope to have clarity on this before I sit down with my dealer to take delivery and that‘s why I’ve posted. I really don’t think my dealer is going to honor something that Ford isn’t reimbursing them for and when the sale is complete it’s going to be harder to resolve. And so far no one has proven me wrong.

I’m not trying to be an alarmist and I don’t think I’m hysterical. Btw, I’m not the first person that’s been told this by a Ford rep, several others have reported the same thing on this site. I originally thought they were mistaken and just got a poorly informed rep. Also, the dealer I reached out to is knowledgeable and respected on Bronco6G and was not able to use both offers on their sales. Personally, I hope I’m proven wrong and there‘s a viable solution that everyone can use and that Ford honors their offer.

I had a 3/6 week build. It showed up at the dealership 8 days ago. I've been working with my dealer since then because he wasn't able to get the MY23 transitional private offer (program 38664) to combine with the $2500 order modification private offer (program 32002). They are both in my SmartVincent. He has reached out to Ford with no solution so far. I still have my email from Ford, I still have screenshots of the order modification FAQs saying they can be combined, and I still have Bronco brand manager Matt Winter stating twice on video these two offers can be combined. I did what Ford asked and dropped the 3 commodity constraints and now they want to remove the FAQs from their website, have the customer service reps give bad information, and have the private offer system not allow combining. I will update this forum when my dealer finally gets this straight with Ford. @FordmotorCompany

Since that is something handled by the dealership I haven't even gotten to that part yet. I'll handle that when I go in to do the paperwork. I have all my forms from Ford to show my dealer. And I'd say $2500 is the bigger issue than the $1500 I'm owed in price protection. I plan on getting it though!

Good luck on all of that. I’ve been trying to get my stuff worked out with Ford for a month now with no resolution for canceling my order to buy off the lot.

Thanks man. It's very frustrating to wait two years for a Bronco to be built and then Ford not come through on something they promised. I understand supply chain issues and dealership pricing games but I'm disappointed in Ford being dishonest with customers that have supported them through all this

Yeah, Ford as a whole sucks!!! Individuals are awesome, but I’ll be looking other companies from here on out. Not that the other companies are any better, but they have not screwed me over yet 🤣

You might want to start that conversation now so your not pressured to accept the vehicle. It’s $4350 for me because mine was built after the 3/15 price increases so I get both. There is a thread where the majority of dealers are playing dumb.

Thanks for looking out. This $2500 modification program doesn't apply to me as I didn't drop LUX SAS Hard top. But I was able to find all of the official Ford dealer communications regarding the mid year price increases and how dealers will receive those refunds. I'm locked and loaded and will hand them to Kyoshi next.
Any Chance you could PM me that info so I can also have something in case my dealer says same thing?

I'll share my experience because I recently (3/24/23) took delivery of my Bronco...

Short version: Years ago, I had ordered 2 Broncos (don't ask). When Ford offered the cancel order for $2500, I canceled Bronco #2 (SAS BL) but kept Bronco #1 order (nonsas BL). My dealer, which was awesome, gave me the original Price Protect/Private Offer of $3200 and the $2500 right off the the sales price. They were the same Certificate Number, but I was given both. It seems unlikely most dealers will be so accommodating.
