Geez, if love to have half the disposable income some of these folks have... bare minimum 35k for the rig and then who knows how much more on suspension, tires and what not to go fast and trash it... good luck getting insurance to pay out on that...

I doubt insurance is a concern here.

@AaronW Have you looked into any tunes? I'm sure a tune can be customized to eliminate the restriction. Plus, the added performance benefits it seems you would need/want.

One has to pay to play. Some have more than that in there SxS.

I would recommend keeping the speed below 102. You never know. This member and those around him are lucky to be alive.

That has nothing to do with speed and everything to do with loose or *maybe* over torqued lugs.

You can take the limiter off if you want. Truck should top out around 135ish. Expect somethings to be ripped off the truck at that point, tire to blow, or front window to cave in.

Be sure to report back after you do it. So I can add it to my mental list.

Has anyone found a way to remove the governed limitation of 102mph through ForScan?
Set fake small tire size and/or 5.38 diff. Otherwise, I think Ford is contractually blocking ECU tuners from disabling the limiter. Ford marketing prefers low speed Bronco police chases, not ones ending with the white bronco flipping 47 times before catching fire.

Appreciate those who responded with valid answers. Will look into a tune as the limiter is controlled by the computer(s) and not a physical limiter. Was hoping there was a "finding" in the ForScan code banks someone might have found.

As for the peanut gallery....keep watching YouTube videos of others having experiences you only dream of having that they are living out verses limiting themselves to a personal bank account or lack thereof. It is all in the perception of your reality. Live in the box or outside of it. Your life...you live it the way you want.
