Installed ford performance hood struts and got a 5 hp bump! Full install video coming soon with dyno run.
together with ford all weather mats and FP hood struts. Man what a difference.
can’t wait for the dealer to get it for the next three weeks to fix the instrument cluster display and the windshield wiper fluid pump.

It took about 30 minutes by myself to do it. So much better and lots more under hood clearance. This should’ve been a factory part. Just saying!!

Ok, I hope that my struts are defective and I am not an idiot, but I followed the instructions for mounting the hardware but when I went to attach the struts, they are too long by about 3 inches and will not compress, at all, thus they don't fit. What am I missing here?

You do have to lift the hood higher
It’s taller than the prop rod height

Getting ready to purchase.

However it says not for my vehicle --- 2022 wildtrak. What gives ?

Worth every penny. But be careful not to drop the bolt used to connect the lower mount. It can drop into the wheel well and is a pain to fish out. Ask me how I know.
