How is anyone going off road like that without beefed up or spare tie rods?
Did you watch the video? In addition to the tie rod, the axle tube sheared in half. Not exactly a field fix.

Our bumper held up to the test with no issues! Fords frame horns were the weak point that bent.
I'd say you probably need to radius the inside of the recovery points more though. Cut right through that soft shackle.

also a good reminder to not rely on the recovery point on bumpers; use/have Bow Shackles

"Any publicity is good publicity." Sellers of Bronco parts LOVE it when they get exposure anywhere online for getting stuck, breaking something, or any other reason. Recovery captured on video? Hell yes, another big win!

I skipped through a lot of it, wouldn't have even watched if it wasn't for the mention of the bumper buckling up. So no, I didn't see the axle tube, only the tie rod ;)

If you understand the difference between tongue weight and towing capacity then the front mounts make sense. They aren't designed for lifting, only pulling. Which is too bad.

Did the bumper bend, or the frame mounts? I'm not sure I'd use the recovery points for lifting the front end but it'd be nice to know why the bumper bent up like that.
The recovery points look like they're 1ft plus beyond where the factory points would be. That's a lot of extra torque applied to the frame horns when lifting. The bumper turned into a cheater bar with all that moment applied to the frame.

I think long padded straps down to the A-arms would have been better....?

I guess either box the frame horn mounting plates or weld some gussets at the top mounting plate to prevent the mounting plates from bending inward at the top. I wonder if the axle shaft and housing tube breaking first caused the weaker tie rod to break. Since the tie rod would be the weaker of the two. I've seen many tie rods break before, but not cause axle failure on opposite side.
