I was doing some google searching yesterday bronco stuff. (Not grills) and an ad came up for this on eBay. I was like wait a minute, that’s my bronco. First pic is my pic, and the second is the eBay ad. Does anyone know this Heller Ford? The funny thing is they are using my custom made Heritage grill, from a base grill. And two tone paint, to sell their factory Heritage grill. I am thinking I should get a royalty check for each one sold.

You may be better off contacting ebay or reporting there listing, and ebay will take it down for you. If they repost with your image, repeat.

I had a company steal my photos for advertising the LED lights on my Cobra. My wife sent them a cease and desist letter since she's a professional photographer and it was her image. They never responded but they pulled the ad down. Best part was they LEDs I had installed were junk Chinese units and their LEDs were actually quality units.

It's hard to enforce a copyright on a picture posted freely on any social platform - I've had a couple of mine used on here to advertise products that I've installed (without compensation, I might add). The fact that yours is unique, self-made and not an image of what they're offering is an affront though. If they're local, offer your truck to actually 'model' their offering, but dissuade them from using the image of your as their product.

A good way to prevent that is to watermark your posted images.

I’ve had the same thing happen many times. Can’t stop it. Someone had my Kubota tractor on eBay last year. The custom light bar I had designed and put on the tractor was up on bids. People emailed telling me but it just can’t be stopped as far as I know.

100% that's your image, you own the rights to it. Look up copyright laws for photos.

So did they steal your photo or just copy your design? This one has a roof rack, I don't believe yours didn't and yours had amber on the headlights.

I have been dealing with this scenario for several years. There is a company that sells a male enlargement product and they have been using a picture of my bodacious love staff as the “ after result”.
