Thanks for the info! I have no idea if that is correct or not, guess I'll find out in the next week or so.
(mine was showing 'in production' yesterday but also a 3/20 blend date). I hope you're wrong! ;)
 I hope I’m wrong too! Going into production a week earlier than it was supposed to be would definitely be awesome! Looks like I’m a day behind you, so I should see my sticker tomorrow. I’ll have to report back with my blend date.

Just got my email from Ford. Email says week of 4/10. Tracker says 4/14. I don’t know what to believe anymore. My build is a 4 dr BL, 7MT, soft top, mid package.

“In production” doesn’t seem to necessarily mean rolling down the line. I think it might mean that they have everything and they’re ready to build it.

The pattern seems to be: the week before build date it switches to “In production”, then the window sticker generates in the next day or two showing the blend date which should to be the previously mentioned build date.
.......
I asked Tim@ Long McArthur during his webcast tonight.... he pretty much confirmed what you are saying.... the tracker typically goes into 'in production' status maybe a week before the actual build starts. The factory needs the order and window sticker prior to when it gets built.
Guess I celebrated too early, I'll have to buy more beer for next week. 🍻

Dang, I was really hoping I was wrong. Thanks for asking him and confirming!

My window sticker did generate tonight and shows my blend date is 3/21.

On a side note, my sticker is not reflecting the new price increase announced today, so that’s good. One less thing to keep track of and deal with, but I’ll still keep an eye on it.

I got an email last night bumping out to week of 4/3. Still no window sticker.... Order tracker says "Scheduled for Production" week of 4/4/23.

3/20 -> 4/17 -> 3/27 -> 4/3

Scheduled week 3/21. Tracker has shown "in production" for awhile now. Today, I woke up to a window sticker!
Same for me -- got the window sticker today. 4 Dr OBX 2.7 Soft/High Package with Lthr. 771/882. Starting to believe it will happen after waiting sooooo long.

Well I actually am still a 3/20/23 build week. This seems to be how it works. You get assigned a tentative build week first, mine was 4/3/23. Then you may or not get bumped around week to week. Eventually you get assigned to a specific day of a build week for me it was 3/21/23. Then a week before that day it appears they put you in production, for me it was 3/14/23 that is what causes the confusion. Within 24 hours or so after going into "production" you receive your window sticker. Mine had a blend date of 3/21/23, which aligns with that specific build week date that was displayed in the tracker. So when you see a specific day of the week vs the first day, that is likely where you are penciled in. So pay attention to date changes. Sucks if you are assigned that first week day though, because you can't recognize the pattern until you go to production.

great info. I’m just waiting for the waiting to be over. Once I got my initial build date I went ahead and sold my GX470. But that put me in a loaner vehicle from a buddy. I’ve been pushed from 3/20>3/28>4/14 Kinda feel like a bum having to borrow a car for this long. Ready for the process to be over.

I see stories like this all the time. No offense but I assume you’ve been waiting years and watched horror stories like dirt mountain, ice mountain, chip holds, 7 build date changes but still sold your vehicle the moment you got a build date?!

Correct. I wanted to make sure I could sell it and get what I wanted for it before used car prices fell too low. Some of us need to put the max amount we can down to purchase one of these Broncos. I wanted to make absolute certain that I had the cash on hand I needed as a down payment and not get in a situation where I was rushing to sell and letting it go for way less than I thought it was worth. And even still, it took me listing it twice to sell it with multiple drops in price.

For mine, tracker is showing scheduled to week of 3/21, but today switched to in production. No window sticker yet.

Someone with more knowledge of the process, please feel free to correct me on this, but I think I remember reading in the build process sticky and based on what I’m seeing here and in other threads, “In production” doesn’t seem to necessarily mean rolling down the line. I think it might mean that they have everything and they’re ready to build it.

The pattern seems to be: the week before build date it switches to “In production”, then the window sticker generates in the next day or two showing the blend date which should to be the previously mentioned build date.

I’m guessing my sticker will generate tonight or tomorrow and will have a blend date of 3/21, then will roll down the line next week. Again, this is just my observation and could be way off.
Mine started showing “in production” on 3/6 but my build week remained 3/13. On 3/7 or 3/8 I got my window sticker showing a blend date of 3/13 and today (3/15) my modules populated. Your observation seems spot on.
