I didn’t feel the channels were that deep and during winter, the snow melts off your shoes and the wife isn’t going to want to pull the drain plug during winter and I don’t want her pulling the drain plug and dumping the water onto the garage floor. She wont be able to pull the drain plug in our driveway because its too steep and the water wouldn’t make it to the drain plug location. Its just easier to have snap-in weather tech floor mats that are easily removable to dump.
Thanks for the info. I have rubber floors in my work truck and still run the Weathertech mats to keep my boot heels from wearing out floor

6 way manual is usually up/down, front/back, and tilt forward/backward on bottom cushion.

Maybe if you option leather seats?
Looking at the options planner leak and the Ford pdf of options, there are no exclusions or requirements relating to power seats. At this point, we should believe what is on Ford's website, instead of some marketing person speaking at the meet.
But of course the people at the meet representing Ford never bothered to read the Ford Badlands web page on seating options.

Optional
  • 10-way Power Driver seat (4-Door Only)
  • 8-way Power Passenger (4-Door Only)
https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/models/bronco-badlands/

And no, carpet is not optional.

The problem is that Ford's website still has plenty of contradictory information. I suggested that because If leather seats get power adjustment, then both the site's and the rep's statements line up. But who knows. File this under "wait for B&P"

Reading Fords website...
Nice catch. So, it appears you can get electronic seats on the Badlands 4 door. But, why would the 2 door be treated differently? I guess Ford's odd trim specs makes my 2 door / 4 door dilemna easier. 4 door for the better / adjustable seats....

Now, loading up a 4 door Badlands one is looking at the $55K+ range. My other gripe on seats would be why no ventilation to go with the heating feature. Seems like a logical add to the Lux trim (and something one should reasonably expect at that price point). But, the customer can't have it all.

Perhaps because the 2 door seats fold forward to allow access to the rear seats.

I guess so. But the easy solution is to make the passenger side front seat with some manual features. In the real world that's where people would pile in from. No need to dumb down the driver seat.

I estimate my wife’s 4dr badlands will actually be closer to $60k, maybe less now that we’ve decided no sasquatch for her since she’d be swapping out wheels & tires anyways.

As long as there isnt a seat sensor in the cushion where the ventilation system goes, I’ll be installing them in her bronco. Enjoy them in my truck and her current grand cherokee.

So, I read a lengthy post elsewhere and a fellow was saying the trims with the rubber floor wouldn't be able to be optioned with electrically adjustable seats -- just the full manual version (which I think likely suck). I hadn't considered that but it sounds plausible. The issue (for me) is that I wanted the Badlands primarily b/c it's the only trim with 33s and the smaller fender flares; a good overall look and compromise. But, like probably others I'd like the higher Lux trim with all of the nice features. So, basically, it sounds like it's either pick something like the Wildtrack with mandated Sasquatch or accept the sorry seats. It's really odd to me they way Ford has chosen to package things so that it's damn near impossible to get the SUV as you'd like it (within reason). [Another oddity is why Ford feels the need to stick some 255 tires on some lower trims and 265s on one other. Why bother with the weenie 255s at all and not go any lower than the 265/70/17s (same as a 4Runner).]
That post was probably from me, and people seem to have a bunch of questions regarding that. It seems the just washout won’t be available with it. So carpet in a BL would most likely be available and then the seats will be an option.
All I know is the Brand Manager that we talked to directly said “ the power seats are not washout/waterproof and will not be available with the washout and would require carpet for them to install.

I think about the speed of the seats on the rare occasion that I have to move the drivers seat all the way forward in my Challenger. I drive with the seat all the way back so it takes forever to move it forward and then back again. I'm kinda glad the two doors won't come with power seats
I'm with you, every time I get into my wife's car I have to lower it all the way down and back to get in and it takes forever LOL

Why would the brand manager not know what is in his own documentation and website?

Maybe he was the Fusion or Transit brand manager, something does not add up, it would be nice if Ford had one brand message, not what some stand in wants to say for the day.

I'll have the rubber floors and still get Weathertech mats for this exact reason.

Anyone's guess which will move further back for tall drivers, or expect the same?
