Couldn't have, right? Otherwise I'm putting that hardtop back on.
Shit, I'll add my Wildtrak back if I could. Even if you could I know that you couldn't switch trims. But I would at least add SAS, LUX, and dual tops on my Badlands.

No, the system has been slow and we don't have an updated list on our end in WBDO of orders that have scheduled. Even this morning, so I don't know a total number quite yet.
Might try a sort in VIN View. Mine aren't showing up in WBDO either but VINS and order numbers are in VV.

I doubt anyone is able to make any changes once you’re scheduled, right?

I’d add tow and some of the extras like a roof rack etc.

I kept all that stuff off bc it could be added later and I was trying to keep the build as clean as possible for Ford to schedule it. Seems like it didn’t really matter in the end but that’s ok.

If given the option, I’d add tow back. I did already buy a Curt hitch but would take it from the factory if it could be added.

I've received some notes and messages from some of our outstanding reservation holders that they are holding off until the last minute on making changes. I can understand the thought process, but I would like to ask that all final changes/ammendments are made and sent to us by noon on 3-3-23. With over 300 outstanding reservations waiting to get their VINs assigned, we want to make sure this is a good experience for all our customers and eliminate something falling through the cracks. We will need a couple of days to get this all processed, so we'd kindly ask that all reservations are updated and final decisions are made by 3-3-23.

A couple other notes.

-I don't have solid information on reservation timestamp and/or priority code makes a difference. My best guess is that reservation timestamp matters, but I don't know this for certain. Just my best educated guess.

- I don't know the mix of orders most likely to get picked up. We have a mix of our orders, but we don't have a good window into the national numbers. I'm not sure how many people updated or changed their orders because they had the $2500 incentive. Our numbers changed slightly, but we're a small piece of the overall pie.

- The timing of delivery of these units should be June/July that they end up hitting our lot. We don't know for certain and there have been some production delays recently, so it wouldn't shock me if this gets pushed to July/August.

- PCOs - We have had a lot of issues with Private Cash offers not showing up properly or not being in the system at all when the customer rightly qualifies for them. We've started to proactively submit these PCOs to Ford so we can get this straightened out befor the Broncos hit the lot, but I don't have a solid timetable on how long it takes to resolve these issues yet, because this is a new process for us.

Thanks to everyone who's hung in their with us the last 3 years!

Zach
I am one of the lucky ones who finally got a ViN.
After a 2.5 year wait, the salesperson is demanding a deposit.
A NON REFUNDABLE deposit.
So many of us have stuck with your dealership through all the allocation issues and now this deposit that we were told would not be required is getting shoved at us?
Here’s a quote from the salesperson Samantha:
“I took over Broncos last year. Yes, there was never a time I mentioned it, but you did not place your reservation with me nor did you ask. Deposits are not collected until Broncos get picked up by Ford due to the wait time it has been. Typically, when ordering a vehicle, the deposits are collected right off the bat, but Broncos have been to crazy to expect a customer to do a $500 non refundable deposit years in advance.”

why would I ask if a deposit was now required? I was never informed that someone new took over Broncos and why would that change your company policy?
it’s kind of an off-putting response.

can you help here? My build isn’t until April if it even gets built then.
Is a non refundable deposit really your policy now after all this time with being told it was not required?

The deposit had been discussed on here on a number of occasions so I expected it when I was scheduled for April 10. But yeah I don’t know that it was mentioned via email in my correspondence.

It’s $500 towards the down payment. The way I see it is I’ve had a reservation for basically $0 for 2.5 years. A lot (most?) dealers required $500 or $1000 or more at the time of the first order back in 2021.

This has been our policy once a VIN is assigned. We did not take deposits previous without knowing the timing of a VIN. Once the VIN is assigned we have a pretty good idea on when the vehicle will be here and delivery timeframe so we ask for a firm commitment to the new vehicle.

The deposit is something most forum members were aware of since way back when Ford began issuing build dates for the very first Broncos back in 2021. It has always been the policy at Granger.

If you don't plan to purchase the truck then don't pay the deposit. Not many dealerships you can custom order a vehicle without paying a deposit of some amount.

Don't let a reasonable request for a nonrefundable security deposit get yourself to excited.

I don’t follow the forums very closely so I missed it.
I’ve ordered 3 new fords in the last 3 years besides this one (and purchased them all) and have never had a deposit required.
I just wish Granger had been explicit about this requirement from the get go.

Got it. Wish you said this from the get go. Maybe it was in some paperwork that I didn’t see. I looked back and didn’t see it mentioned when you announced the October 2020 deal.

Should I expect get a total price up including what ford price protection I am receiving before having to pay the deposit?

I agree. Just don’t like it being sprung on me and I got excited!

If you followed the forums you would understand that you found the most reliable seller of Broncos you could have chosen. There are hundreds of stories of dealers raising the price, not selling at agreed to MSRP, playing ignorant with Price Protection. Granger is a "no worry" choice. Plus, NO ONE HAS THE $2,000 BELOW INVOICE plan.
Enjoy the ride

Well, that's why I called Samantha yesterday, to confirm (before making a non-refundable deposit) that I had the correct discounts. Of course they were correct.

But @Zach@Granger let me ask you this, what do you do if the vehicle is damaged in shipping or before delivery? Are we out our deposit for a vehicle that cannot be delivered?

I ask because Broncos have been destroyed before delivery before.
