SRQ Front Winch Bumper Group Buy

Hey everyone, I spoke to Matthew @srqfabrications and he gave the go ahead for a group buy and outlined the following discounts depending on the number of members who are willing to order:

"Customers would be able to select options as they wish and the discount would apply to those too. The discount would not apply to shipping costs.

3-5: 10%
6-10: 15%
10+: 17.5%

We could also do 10% off lighting and winches ordered with the bumpers."

Please comment on this thread if you are interested so that we as a community can see how many of us are interested. I think we should aim for mid-late March to get our group buy submitted. I'll Help coordinate this for those who are interested.

yea... i really want this bumper.... i think it's the best looking one in my opinion, but just got wheels, tires, cargo boxes, and i need suspension soon.... maybe I'll be ready later in the year.

At everyone else to be totally honest I wouldn’t use threads like these to ask about retroactive discounts. That’s what got vendors to stop doing group buys on my 4runner forum.

Having a hard time deciding because my OCD brain is still stuck trying to process that whole “17.5%. discount” What an odd number to throw out there.

“Hey can we get a group discount?”
“I guess so. How about if you get…I dunno….say 10 people together….we’ll give you guys a 17.5% discount.”

I mean, who the hell thinks like that?

10%. 20%. Maybe if you know your profits are slim and you want to give more than 10% but can’t quite afford to give 20%…..ok fine….15%.

I could even understand if you were like the Rainman…..say you knew that you wanted to give more than 15%…. but 20% was still too high for your profit margins… so you quickly calculated 17% as the optimal discount without even needing a pen or paper.

BUT SEVENTEEN POINT FIVE PERCENT????

We spent a lot of time trying to get the bumper as tight as possible. Physically can't get the winch any closer unless you start moving intercoolers.
