STOP delivery on some Broncos due to 10-speed auto transmission recall (build dates: 11/14/22 - 01/12/23) -- loose bolt / park pawl issue

Wow, Ford's two for two now in the transmission department.

Does anyone here watch American Auto? The company on the show is Payne Motors and they had an issue with the pawl as well, funny show if you haven't seen it.

Looks like I dodged a bullet and missed the build date window by a few weeks for my 22.

Worse, a TSB that does nothing and still no real solution.

Hey, maybe we have extra bolts rolling around in there too, sure sounds like it.

Just hope its not like the DCT that was never solved until they stopped using it.

I kinda want to know how an extra bolt gets tossed in just for kicks. Did a robot get programmed for an extra bolt to be fixed in a hole that ended up being in empty space? Ford never fails to amuse me. If I actually had a build date I’d be more worried but those of us in the never ending wait line get to just read of others anxiety.

Ford had the same issue with the early Gen-2 2017-18 Raptors. That became a formal recall not just a TSB.

Mine is supposed to be built next week. Hopefully, those trannys have been fixed for new Broncos rolling off the line.

Damn. Ford has GOT to get their quality game together. I love my Bronco and my 12 year old F-150 but these major quality issues have been going on for too long. I know every OEM has recalls and issues, but everybody knows this is something Ford has been struggling with for far too long. Come on guys!

Quality USED to be Job 1 - I got lucky and missed this window, whew!
