Wanted the toplift pro but didn’t have anywhere to store it so went with the garage smart hard top lifter instead.

As long as you have a garage with high enough roof, this seems like preferable option. Surprised that toplift pro comes out higher price even after 15% discount.

I have the Top Lift Pro. I have not actually taken my top off yet as its winter in TN. I did test fit it though and it does go in and will clear the raptor brace to lift the top off. Well made product. Take your time putting it together.

This is something I’ve been wanting to replace my DIY Cam-Strap system that I put in my garage for my JLU. With that vehicle I would use the straps to lift off the Jeep, then lower the top down to a storage cart and keep in stored up against the wall.

Given the added width of Braptor I really don’t have the space to do that so either will keep the top hoisted with the straps and pull in underneath it or use something like the TopLift. I saw a video with it being used on a Braptor so I knew that wasn’t an issue, but what I think is an issue is compatibility with the Ford/Tuffy Cargo Enclosure. Every video/image I’ve seen appears as though the cargo cover will interfere with the gear mechanism on the TopLift.

So I may be SOL in using the TopLift but haven’t been able to get a full answer as to whether this will work. And given I have the ’Deluxe’ version that lifts up, the cargo cover is also a couple of inches taller than the standard version that sits level with the edge of the tailgate.

If anyone has any experience with this combination I’d appreciate some feedback.

I can confirm the ford enclosure and top lift are not compatible unless you remove the enclosure top/lid, which is not an easy or fun task to have to do each time. I ended up removing and installing the slipstream which is very easy to remove and put back the top piece of the actual enclosure (like in seconds). The Top Lift Pro needs full access to the cargo area, and the ford enclosure does not allow (either model ford has). The slipstream however is very simple and easy to slide the top out of the way which gives the top lift pro full access to be able to be slid in and pushed up to remove your top. Couldn't be easier or happier! Plus, the slipstream is much better quality and function than the ford enclosure.

I had the same model as you have where the top lift ups on the enclosure with the side pistons. It just doesnt get out of the way enough for the top lift pro.

Take your time, watch the video as you go. Pause, watch the video, do the next section, keep going. Took me about 4 hrs to do alone. Having someone help would be beneficial!

simply not enough clearance in my garage. (i've already got a pair of garagesmart bike lifters, so familiar with height requirements)

Thanks for the clarity. I’m going to hold on until Spring when I’m taking the top off and determine whether my current setup works or if I need to come up with a Plan B. The biggest issue is the Slipstream is so damn $$$ much less the additional cost of the TLP.

I removed my Raptor top with the top lift pro… it kinda of works… the arms on the lift are limited on going under the rear portion of the top by the rear Raptor specific brace on the roll bar… 2 of us had to lift the top up and back about a foot or so to get it properly situated on the lift… I do like that it can be wheeled around but my experience is a good bit different than the video.., to be fair, the video doesn’t show a raptor… would like to hear if another raptor owner has had a better/different experience…

That defeats the purpose if multiple people have to position it just to lift it. Thanks for the feedback.
