Cool! Which ceramic did you opt for? I’m going with Adam’s Graphene.
I used Adams advanced graphene. It’s a lot of work so I want maximum benefit. Took me 7 hours (with some downtime in between of course). With that much effort and knowing it’s $1200 to have someone else coat, the extra $80 was a no brainer. Also, buy the kit. I plan to apply a boost ever 4 months or so. Wash with Adams shampoo, it’s amazing how the hydrophobic properties bounce back after a wash.
Thanks! I have the kit, and the Adam’s Graphine Detailer with a gallon refill on the way. I couldn’t help myself. I’m having my detail shop do the coating. I don’t have a garage, it’s cold here on Long Island and I don’t want to screw it up.
nice! Adams recommends leaving it out of elements for 24 hours to cure. I plan to rotate the graphene detailer and boost. I wish Adams would lay out a care plan. I’ve had to piece it together a bit. Of course, anytime I see a car wash plan, it’s absurd the level people go to. I want it to look / be awesome, but it’s still just a vehicle, and a truck at that.
If you have a 2.7, which I’m assuming you do because the Wildtrak emblem next to your username, this is completely normal due to the EBB (electronic brake booster). Nothing to be fixed because that’s just an operating characteristic.
I think it’s difficult for Adam’s to customize a care plan, because everyone’s exposure to the elements is different. I may be committing car care heresy, but I use a brushless car wash on a regular basis. After drying, I use a ceramic detailer on my current car. It looks beautiful and shines like a diamond.
They did it while waiting for the steering gear, but it was a special order when I had it in last for routine service. Originally arrived to the dealer without the hardware from what I was told.
Hey thanks Ducati but I find it hard to believe this is normal, I have had many vehicles and this is the only one with that weird clunk. Do you know if it's specific to Bronco? I also own a Lincoln Aviator and it's smooth as it should be. Strange to me

Omg so bizarre!! Thank you so much for sending. I have to investigate this makes no sense to me especially if other Ford vehicle’s are “normal”. I would love to know other vehicles and manufacturers that have this same noise and why most to my knowledge do not. The electronic brake booster used by Ford is relatively new. There are a few other models that have it now though. Not sure if your aviator is one of those. Other manufacturers may have something slightly similar being used, but not the same as the Ford design.
