Nice job! I'm all about minimal intrusion and with the 2dr's uneven floor with seats down, this is perfect
Thank you, my friend. I may build a version 2.0 to see if I could squeeze a half inch or even an inch out of it. That JL audio 12 inch only has about a half inch of clearance before it starts rattling off of the flooring. Still sounds great though.

Awesome build ! And thanks so much for taking time and sharing Your project.
I have question , I am about to start building my sound system
I have JL 10W 3v 3-4 single 10” I would love to use and pair up with Jl JX 500 sub am
would love to use exact footprint. Do you think 10” sub would be appropriate fit acoustically in cubic feet of sound space in your footprint or perhaps I would have to adjust and build smaller ?
I have LC 6- 1200 Ausio Control amp plus sub amp that I would love to mount in same floor space since they are bit bigger. I think that would work very well.
also did you use bolts to mount it all directly to the floor of Bronco.
thanks fir your time and help in this .
for the speakers I will be using Milike legends Herts , Rainbow mids and Audison tweeters
I would have no reservation using the 10” sub due to its more shallow properties. It would let you lower everything by a quarter inch too. I think as long as you seal it airtight, it will sound amazing.

Excellent build and very nice of you to share the cut list. The TW3's are my favorite subs. I'm doing a quick down firing 10TW3 to hold me over till I have time to do a stak fab stealth box

Good to know , I measured mine and it’s about 8” tall so , yes saving bit of overall height would be bonus.
thanks fir quick response

Hey y'all - I finally had a moment to take a picture with the seats down, as requested.

After thinking this over I am going totally different route and building unique Transition Line subwoofer behind my from seats and since I delayed rear seats I have good space there. It will take full print of the floor area 48” long and only about 8“ tall with to ti line ports using 10” down firing JL
in making it will be pushed by JL 500 w mono block 2 amps and crossovers will be in place of rear seats , all cover up with wooden enclosure.

Nice work! Similar idea, mine hits hard as well. The rear portion is just a filler that pivots up for access. Almost level with seats down. The rear also serves as a good hideaway when tailgate is closed.

How did you make the grille cover over the cubby area for the amps?

Removed the cubby and used mesh sourced from Amazon. I built a reverse mold out of MDF and then pressed the mesh in the mold with a press so it would fit perfectly where the cubby was removed. Added a little hot glue on the back side of the mesh flange.

Can I get a link to the t-harness/loop back system harness you used for this? Also maybe links to the kicker speakers? Thanks.
