898 days here with me being on the cusp of having my granger 2dr basesquach built this year (around 100th in line at last check) where does that leave me. Take a chance on waiting and not be built or take the money for something else. I keep looking and there is NOTHING in that price range that I like. Ugh..
It appears that Ford may be allowing dealers with insufficient allocation to schedule all their orders but take a hit on any future orders if they do so. I'm sure Granger will be getting in touch with people (watch the thread here) to find out who wants to move forward with the new constraints.

It is still possible that a 2 door basesquatch could be built. It's just a low chance. Ford is saying that if you remove sasquatch, remove MIC top, remove LUX, your vehicle will get scheduled and built.

They are not saying all the others will not get built, including Wildtracks. But they are saying the chances are much less likely they will get built, and they are not going to give you any additional incentives to stick to your guns.

My Bronco has both MIC (2-door is MIC only) and SAS. But I am already in priority 2. Does this mean I am clear?
Not unless you have a VIN number

Any word if these constraints apply to BRaptors? I may try switching my Wildtrak to a BRaptor.
Do you know of a dealer that has a BRaptor allocation available? Most dealers have used all of their braptor allocations for 2023.

They are all but saying that you won't get built... as others have said, once they sweep the offending orders out at the end of February, they will increase prices and open the order banks again (not keeping their word on maintaining 2023 price protection by eliminating orders that wouldn't change from WT - MIC, Lux, or Sasquatch at the end February 2023).

Ford can't be trusted to do the right thing. It does not mean that they won't do the right thing, but don't trust them to.

So all Heritage Edition order holders are screwed, right? Since the Heritage includes Sas?
The Heritage model was always a “late availability“ vehicle and I was warned during reorder in September, way before all of this bad news, that I would likely not see it this year so I chose to stick with what I had ordered. The example that was given was that most Everglades buyers had to wait until the next year to get one. Unless Ford is re-allocating all of these SAS packages that people are being forced to drop off their regular orders to the heritage model, my guess is that very few will be produced this year. Since Ford won’t communicate in any meaningful way with buyers, there’s no way to be sure.

You could buy a used Lux package Bronco.
Not a lot of inventory around here. Those that are used want crazy prices and the new broncos all have ADMs. Sure if I want to spend way more money I could buy myself out of this situation as others could as well. After waiting since day 1 (and doing so very patiently) on this, that isn't something I am interested in doing. I have been a loyal and patient customer of Fords over the years. 4 plus cars and trucks and have dealt with waits before-2012 Raptor was about 11 months. My 1995 Bronco was the first new car I ever bought. These changes aren't about one thing. We are being asked to give up on a lot of things that we wanted. Things that made this truck appealing to me and most importantly I HAVE WAITED FOR.

Ford is making a choice on how to handle this, the question is what will my choice be-right now, it is likely leaving my order and if it doesn't get delivered by this Summer when I need a car, Ford will lose me as a customer FOREVER. THAT is my choice and I am sure they don't care either way.

My understanding is that if most of the unscheduled orders (remember, they have only taken orders from people who placed 2021, 2022 orders. no new public 2023 orders have been allowed) will be scheduled and built as 2023MY. Any excess capacity beyond those orders will go to dealer inventory. I'd be shocked if they have the capacity to take new consumer orders for the MY2023.
Heck, I would be shocked if when they take MY2024 orders that all of those will get built.

Remember when the Bronco was announced, and many questioned how Ford would support so many variations and options in manufacturing? That was a good question, and it seems the answer is they simply can't. It looks great in the marketing information, but the reality is they can't.

FWIW, my heated steering wheel in the Wildtrak kind of sucks. I was just talking about it last night actually. It enough to knock the chill off the wheel if parked outside in freezing temps, but it does not get nearly as hot as my Mazda.

I'm questioning whether or not it's defective.
Can increase temp with FORSCAN

I was at 857 days of waiting when my 2023 Raptor showed up in 2022. Now I'm Thanking God it showed up earlier than expected and feeling bad for others getting stuck with 2 bad options. Getting rid of the 3 options I waited so long for, for 2500 doesnt seem worth it.

I do understand that Ford has limited options, but I also understand that Ford dropped the ball in the beginning, leaving many early order holders stranded.

I'm sure that this is why many other manufacturers dont really let you place exact spec special orders. The program is obviously just not made for this scale of popularity in an economy like we are currently in.

My sales guy told me they are having a webinar with the CEO and he will be making announcements. I think this is when they'll post the official terms.

Every once in awhile I'm disappointed that i dropped MIC and sasquatch, but then I see stuff like this. I've been had mine for about a year... a bird in the hand... GL to all.

Not saying Ford is the best preforming manufacturer, may indeed be the worst, but you cannot just go and get "any other vehicle", or you live in a different world than I do.
People on this very board are quoting only 3 month lead times from order acceptance to delivery of Jeep Wranglers. Something is seriously being mismanaged somewhere. I've read it could be something as simple as tires for Sasquatch, if that's the case then change suppliers. We all know the issues with MIC and Webasto who should have been fired shortly after launch.

That’s definitely an option. But for me, personally, at the cost this vehicle, I want a new truck. On that front, I inquired about a couple new Broncos on dealer lots listed online that were reasonably priced and one was gone and the listing down within the hour and the other one I was told had already been sold as well. With this news, I‘m thinking it’s going to be a feeding frenzy with dealers greedily eating desperate buyers.
