Based on the information I've seen, yes. Either you drop, switch or hold out understanding you might lose price protection if it doesn't get built this year.

Don't know who was on or invited but I didn't see any notification. The full bulletin or change will be broadcast to all dealers Tuesday at 11:30am eastern. I'll watch it but most of my interest is the cutoff date for changes to be made so we can communicate with everyone. Again, I've got some of the info already but not going to disclose out of concern it's likely confidential. The stuff that Ashley put out is correct a few details missing that won't change the overall situation. Hold and wait, possibly lose PP, cancel, drop to a buildable (lower trim) model and wait.

My suggestion to the forum is what Ashley spoke about, don't swamp your salesperson Tuesday afternoon but if you're a WT or have one of the other sins, take the weekend/week to think it over and then reach out. If you're going to stick it out make sure you get an updated, accurate DORA to protect yourself and the dealer. Get it in writing/email, again, to protect both parties and have something to fall back on if Ford screws up.

Your time was ALWAYS the commodity. It sucks to watch all this nonsense. I dipped out and paid $7k ADM for a ‘23 WT 4dr/MIC/LUX in EG. Picked up a politely used soft top for the summer.

I won’t look back. My time is the commodity. I wanted a Bronco because they’re fun. I intend to enjoy it, not go crazy for months or years trying to save $6-7k.

I’m 100% with everyone who is going to make a few compromises for fun, but I don’t understand stockpiling $10-20k in aftermarket upgrades but not being willing to pay a few $k in ADM. I wouldn’t return all that stuff. Just go find something reasonably close to your order and get on with it.

This isn’t just a Bronco problem FYI. I have customers who are 2+ years in on waiting for Super Duty orders. Options disappear, prices go up, they finally get built but parked for months waiting on parts. F650/F750 ran out of standard black bumpers, couldn’t get PTO provision (pretty important on a dump truck). Problems getting the tires you want. Now fleets are subject to nationwide allocations that are a fraction of what they got in the past. I think the whole state of Hawaii got like 20 trucks for their government for all of MY23. My point is, Ford is making tough decisions for all of their customers. Not just early Bronco reservation holders. I haven’t kept up with the Maverick but I’m sure it’s a mess over on their forum too thinking they’re getting the shaft.

Make the best decision for yourself and realize you might have to compromise or keep waiting. Dropping hard top for soft top a year and a half ago was something I didn’t want to do at the time but I’m very glad I did. And I actually have come to enjoy it. A 33” badlands instead of sasquatch, high package instead of Lux, or different front bumper isn’t going to ruin your Bronco experience.

Don't forget they just killed air brakes on 650/750 too. Not chip related but still related to upstream supply.

Not going to speculate but they've specifically targeted WT as their biggest challenge to build due to options. About half of my unbuilt stuff right now is some version of a WT. I'd guess other dealers are seeing something similar.

Thank you. At the beginning of MY23 I was 12th in line out of 70+ at my dealer. They are getting 32 allocations

Do you even have an order? If you did not renew for '23 when they contacted everyone, the order was supposed to be purged. Have yet to see that though.

I have an order and just received an email from Kyle from Chapman. I replied I’m keeping my order as is.

Never mind, I was just informed the OP's information is true. Dealers with a lot of "offending" orders got the word yesterday. Saw the details but not going to disclose due to confidentiality concerns but can say it is unfortunately correct. Sorry about previous speculation, just got the intel.

Flip, at best, the info from Chapman is misleading. Not sure who you spoke with, but I was on the call, it was made clear that they're still building with those options, but they are constrained. Ford is not balancing out those options yet.

I know the one statement said to be considered for scheduling which infers they weren't going to schedule any Hard Top (MIC, MOD or both?), SAS or LUX, but the remaining statements seem to make it about price protection.

It seems improbable that they won't schedule hard tops because that would mean no 2DR unless suddenly the soft top option on the 2DR can be gotten without also getting a hard top.

I suspect it is not that they aren't making those, but that those items remain constrained and that continued cost growth (inflation) is making the price protection more and more painful for them especially for those early ones. Not justifying it, just trying to infer the truth.

Thank you for posting this. Chapman was protected here for too long and as soon as someone dared to say they were wrong or not transparent enough ( misleading to be exact) that member will get banned, or told to shut it
