Anyone on here picked up a vehicle delivery from Chapman since Jan 3rd and had your price protection covered? How did it work??
Mine is finally built and en route after 3 delayed dates (early July ‘20 res).
My price protection certificate was in the system for the original delivery schedule. I hear the scheme might be changed after Jan 3rd and can’t get a definitive answer from Ashlie at @DealerInsider on whether things will be ok when vehicle finally arrives.
@Ford Motor Company - please get your shit together. This is ridiculous!!
I only received the $250 Smart Vincent cert. I'd wager that's the case for the majority of people who picked up from them in '22.

I got the email too. It’s been 2 and a half years. You’d think at some point Ford could get their shit together. This is getting old.

So I guess I won’t be one of the 24 February allocations. 🤦‍♂️

Just got it too. What a crock. Just how does one drop the hardtop on a 2 door?
Exactly. That would effectIvey cancel the 2 door model. I’m thinking the hard top would apply to the 4 door model only. Am following up now.

I already sent Ashlie an email asking about the 2 door, Heritage and Everglades. I’m also going to shoot Tom a text in the AM.

So if we remove these items is Ford offering a deeper discount over price protection AND guaranteeing that it will be built this year? I find anything they say can't really be trusted 😂

I got my email too. I mean...... I have a base soft top SAS.....ford wants me to drop the only option I have/wanted. It would be nice if at least they would tell me what they are offering. I'd probably drop it and get $250 private offer or some stupid shit.

Hey folks...we're still going through the orders and contacting our customers....we had a ford zoom meeting that only a few select dealers were invited to...we wanted to notify our customers of the present situation with Bronco and provide our customers with their options (from ford) to help their chances for scheduling...you're more than welcome to leave the order as it is, there is no requirement to make changes, but ford has made statements about not continuing price protection past 23MY...once we get the official PDF from Ford, we will be sending it to customers as well

thank you! please direct any questions to [email protected] or 267-483-9747

Hope all is well! Unfortunately, Ford has made us aware that customers with orders that have hardtops/LUX pkg/Sasquatch pkg will need to modify their order to drop these items for scheduling consideration.
Good morning @Ashlie@chapman, thanks for replying and for the clarification. I think you can see now how the quote above could be easily misinterpreted. I would suggest changing the language in any further notices you send out, and to send a follow-up to the folks you've already emailed.

based on the meeting with ford, the orders will likely not be considered for scheduling if the changes are not made...that is what we interpreted from our meeting with ford and we wanted to keep our customers informed.

I think y'all might want to slow down a bit and get better clarification, because that was not the interpretation of other folks who were reportedly on calls with Ford yesterday, based on information in the other thread and from the Bronco6x Facebook group. Is it true that additional information is coming from Ford on Monday or Tuesday?

So if we don’t change our orders? We won’t get scheduled for MY23 period?

After waiting 2-3 years I don't think many are willing to budge and change their orders . Was the announcement rushed since it seemed Monday the 17th Ford is going to provide more details ?

Does this stand for those who have a priority Code of 2 as well????

I was under the assumption that a PC of 2 means it would get built. Ford's way of forcing the system to build that specific order????

So much grey area with this statement from Ford sure hope Mondays info will clear it up.

How can you have a statement about not building hardtops and yet not have a 2dr included in that because you can only get a hardtop on a 2dr. Hardtop constraint leads to 2dr constraint. Very simple to me. 🤪

Ford says this once per model year. Avoiding constraints has had ZERO effect for me. It doesn't change your priority code. Customer service tells you the same thing. Ill probably play this stupid game again and change for a month or two of scheduling and when nothing happens just switch back to what I originally wanted.
