I'm wondering if it's a ploy by Ford to get some customers to drop those constraint items hoping to get more built and clearing out the order books. It doesn't necessarily mean your Bronco won't be built with those items, it just means if it isn't built in '23 you won't get price protection. It's a crap shoot, if enough people bite on the private offer and drop those items it might help others get theirs built with those items.

I've got a '23 4dr Wildtrak on order with all those constraints, I'll be sticking to my guns and hoping for the best. I'm sure the additional private offer will be pitiful but it would hurt losing my private offer/price protection I have on the '23.

As Dirty Harry would say, "feel lucky punk?".

I am hearing about this in Texas, saw the dealer communications from Ford myself. You either drop them all, or you are SOL.

So who's starting the class action lawsuit against Ford?
Hi Patrick - I see you are at Leif too. I was actually already going to visit tomorrow because when I called Bronco Hotline today, they are seeing a Bronco and a Maverick on my account on order processing. I’ve only ever had a Bronco order 🤔 Last month I was bumped from a priority 10 to priority 2, so I was hopeful 😭 I guess if all of this is true and my Bronco dreams are unfulfilled, I’m going to be going back to a Mustang and looking at a Dark Horse order when those banks open (rumor is 1/23). I’m already waiting anyway.

As they say, "Post the communication from Ford here, or it did not happen."

I have front and back bumper with tire carrier, lift with uca's, wheels, tires, ADV Hood (Painted), Arb twin air and mount, tailgate table, air intake, aftermarket grill, Baja Designs 50" ONX6, Pair XL80s, pair of squadron pros. with all wiring harnesses and mounts, Warn 10,000lb winch with all the goodies, aftermarket grill, and much more. About 20K worth I have gathered over the last year. Just got the 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers for Christmas. I know, it was stupid putting that much faith into actually getting this rig. My wife told me so. Oh well, I guess I can sell it all and find a new venture.

I have three boxes of stuff I ordered before Christmas that just showed up this week. Hope this is all just a bad rumor but given how badly Ford has managed the Bronco reservation/order process it's probably true. Some day the Bronco reservation/order process will be studied in school by marketing types for how not to roll out a new product line. There's simply no reason they couldn't have filled all of the reservations by now. I've seen several vehicles very close to my order but I'm not willing to pay $10K to $20K over the retail price. So I know it can be built.

The fact that dealers can place stock orders when people still haven't gotten orders is entirely wrong in my opinion.

I only have an issue when they build stock units that are identical to current orders that were passed over because of "allocations" or any other excuse, really.

What I'm seeing around here (dealers) are Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond 4dr softies, standard suspension, etc.
A couple 2drs ....

I've done the excited thing. I've done the angry thing. I've done the patient thing. I am now just at acceptance. The corporate Ford folks played us all, just a comical life lesson.

I know it's not April fools day yet... but some dealer thinks it is. Please forget about all this, relax...talk to your dealer if need be - and chilax :)

Not offense to the OP, but I am just in general seeing so many click bait titles and posts because the community here at this point just needs a reason to get annoyed. I have fallen for this also.

All you can do is place your order and wait. Let me know if there is any single thing that you have been able to do to move the needle - let me guess...NOT.

I do not think Ford is going to kill the Bronco by removing all the things that make it a Bronco worth buying. Also, I'm hearing supply chain issues getting better at Ford, not worse.

Just my observations and thoughts.
I love your optimism! Hope you are correct.

I honestly feel kinda guilty, and I love your positivity really. It's people like you that just makes this kind of news worse, because you want to believe. I did too a couple hours ago, believing is seeing. You dont have to believe me tonight, but just mentally prep yourself so the news when you see it yourself isn't too tough to swallow. I even thought it was a single dealer ploy, maybe ford trying to knock down some constraints off orders. Only thing I don't know at this point is a time line, the one mentioned here of a week seems unrealistic. The discount they offer isn't even enough to cover a lift and new tires to replace Sas. The lux feature losses can't even be replaced with any ease. It's just disappointing, but that's what Ford is best at.

Lots of things to iron out on this Bronco, Cash waiting but my god there’s so many things to improve upon and correct .One day hopefully this will be a product worth my hard earned money .Love the looks but very deceiving,2-3 years from now maybe , Fords have been good to me in past F150 , mustangs and broncos , this current one hits a lot of notes but my god , I thought Jeep’s were cheap and a money pit after warranty expires, this bronco takes it to a whole new level , lots of time to see if ford gets their shit together on old ice tech or all resources will be towards their EV portfolio
