Holy cow I’m still in shock that it’s actually moving! Took 5+ weeks to have a railcar after getting my shipped email. Departed Wayne, MI and got an ETA for here in FL (to arrive at rail yard) on 1/20! So nice to finally have a railcar and to see said railcar is MOVING!

Just so you’re all in the loop - some early 2023s that were supposed to have front steel bash plates (with the modular front bumper), have actually shipped with a plastic front skid. Check yours when it arrives.

Just a question, when i call CSX my rail was loaded and delivered to Gibson indiana, no eta available, i called and they told me this that it arrived on January 13, then it says no ETA available, then i called UP like 20 minutes ago, and it says loaded, interchange received EST Wayne Michigan on January 19th. What does this mean? Is my car loaded or unloaded in Gibson? Its to CA but as of UP says it is going to Michigan. Any idea?

Hmm not really sure about the Michigan per UP… UP didn’t work when I called but I suspect it’s because mine transferred to BNSF not UP at interchange.

I have been following just with CSX and after Gibson it always says no ETA and end of call also. I suspect you may take a similar route and hopefully overnight yours will be in Texas or NM already! I seem to be stuck in Clovis, NM right now but it flew to get there.
